Question About Blog Comment

Does anybody know a search engine for blogs that allow link comments? I know that I have seen one before and I know I bookmarked it, but I can't seem to find it right now. Does anybody know of any good search engines?

    What is a "link comment"?

Well post blogs either don't allow comments, or you can't add links to their comments. At least thats my understanding. So I have seen a search engine before that has a list of all blogs that allow you to link to your own site in the comment box/

I'd say 90+% of blogs do allow comments - that's how they build up their loyal readership... and fans . Just wondering where did you get your "understanding" from?

Also, even if it is not stated explicitly you can put links in the comment text area on the blogs. It is another question that I set my blogs to automatically hide your comment in the moderation queue if you have more than one (1) link in your comment. You still can have your name linked to your own website when you post a comment.

To be honest, I still don't understand your original question. Maybe we could take a different approach: what is it exactly that you want to do on a blog and why?

My understanding unfortunately is based on what little I have learned a a course I tried a while ago, I seem to learn more on my own. I guess in a round about way you have answered my question. Thank You! I am trying to get some traffic to my site and everyone says that forums, blog comments, and article marketing are the easiest ways. I was going to comment (good quality comments) on some blogs but I could have swore that someone said that on most blogs you can't link back to your own site because they disable it. Which I guess I was wrong about. So thank you for you help!

Ah, I guess I know what you were referring to: nofollow vs. dofollow.

Most blog scripts by default are set to add the "no-follow" attribute to the links in the comments area, which means that the search engine robtos will not follow those links to your site, for example. However, there is no consensus whether this is 100% true or not.

Now, there has been a 'movement' to reward our commenters and disable the no-follow attribute on blogs. WordPress has plugins for that. And I remember different tools for finding the do-follow blogs.

Try Google: find do-follow blogs - Google Search

You should be able to see if comments are no-follow or not by looking at the source of the page (if there is a link on it)... I think

You could go to google search engine and check on image By searching Google Image Search (or other image searches) for "U Comment I Follow" (with quotes is more accurate, but without quotes gives more results),

I just setup a WSO for a very cheap solution that you may be interested in. I also have a couple of review on my blog of some free dofollow search tools. I can't say I'm overly impressed with them but they are free!

Best of luck and PM if you have questions.
