Just a little success Story

Hello my fine warriors

So I have a little success story for everyone here today. I recently finished building a web page selling clickbank products in the form of a review. I finished this very early wensday morning. I then started a quick ad campaign from google on this later that day until I could get it indexed in the searches.

So I built a simple review page and a blog wensday morning started my ad campain wensday night. By the time I woke up thursday morning at 930 the site had already made around 60. By the end of the day thursday this site had already made me around 200. I was able to make that 200 off it with just adwords traffic which only costed me about 25$. So then I started adding my article post to the blog.

After posting ten or so post thursday for the start of the blog to deter the visitors to thinking it was a new blog. I then posted one more on friday. By around 730 friday night I had already had half of the pages indexed and since stoped my adwords campaign and started the gradual increase to free traffic.

Since this is my first highly seo'd site i was shocked at how fast i got indexed and into the making money part from a site. I was always under the impression that it takes weeks if not months to get a page indexed not 1.5 days from buying the domain late tuesday building the site into the we hours of the morning wensday.

Congratz pete, I just recently finished my review page for a click bank product as well. However I am not using adwords I am driving traffic through articles and back linking (as well as seo). But I am in a niche that is very high in demand so hopefully I will be seeing some great results once my first few articles get set up on ezine (waiting the 7 or so days). It's stories like these that remind me of the fact that it is possible to make quite a profit from IM..if you are willing to do the work (which I am).
I hope you see many more successes in the future

Beautiful results Pete but I don't understand why you stopped a profitable PPC campaign. I started out with PPC and I am now getting into SEO. There is always a debate with free traffic vs. paid traffic. If you are making profits, the double exposure is great.

I only stopped the paid per click to start growing the site. I will start it up again once it is getting over 100 visitors a day from organic searches.

Which in less then 2 weeks the site has been going it is currently getting around 30 visitors a day from google alone. About 120 pageviews made 2.00 from adsense on it yesterday with 10 clicks so it is not a profitable adsense page but I depending on what ad shows up since it also targets cars I know this will be very profitable.

I did a check the other day and I basically dominate my niche. Hitting the top spot on just about every keyword I am targeting besides the main one. Which will take forever to get that top spot since with exact match for the keyword there is still 13mil in competition.

However my next largest taget keyword with exact match has around 3mil and I am at present hitting the front page but not the top spot. So the page with out ppc campain is still making me about 50$ where I know once I turn that back on I will be raking in the bank which is why I wanted to wait to contiue till after I am already getting about 100 a day with out ppc.

If you do continue to use PPC alongside other methods make sure you are tracking where the sales are coming from.

Congrats man. It's cool to see you do this. One reason why many people fail online is...they NEVER take action.

    Power toyou for taking action.

Very inspiring, Congratulations. I agree with everyone here, continue with PPC, but also do some other type of backlink generation, such as articles, other webpages (squidoo, hubpages, etc). Just get as many backlinks as possible. After a while, then you can get rid of the PPC anf live off the free traffic.

Congratulations. It is always exciting when your site gets indexed. It seems the harder you try to get your site indexed and page 1 the longer it takes and the harder it is.

I am still working on my sites to make my first sale and this is very inspiring to hear. I also had a site index quickly, I think the day it was made and thought it was a fluke. Now I see it`s not and making my next site is a bit re-assuring.

      Hi Pete,

I'm glad you shared this story. I'm into building review sites now and I was thinking about doing PPC for it. Are you building your ads for the products in your site or you are advertising the whole review site?

I am usually targeting competitive niches and I was thinking of trying to enter a less competitive one. I see it is working for you.

      Thanks for sharing!

How's that going for you? Are you earning steadily from them or is it rather chaotic?
