I made a product.. now what?

So I spent the better part of this morning creating a guide to making $1000 a month writing erotica. The question now is, what do I do with it? I would like to sell it as a WSO, short report or something like that with 100% commission to affiliates.. What's the next step?

Sales Page -> Design and CopyWriting that converts

    then

Keyword Research and List Building with Targeted Traffic.

WSO won't work flawlessly since it's not IM related, but it's always good to have affiliates promote it for you, so there's a chance it might work.

You may wish to get some reviews first before listing it as a WSO.

After getting the reviews/feedbacks, you may wish to improve it before listing it as WSO.

    Hope this help

Ehh what I meant is that its going to be a WSO on how to make money with Kindle, specifically by writing erotica. So technically it is in the IM niche.

As far as promotion, I was trying to decide if its better to promote by giving away the WSO for free to build a list, or if its better to have affiliates promote it and give them 100% commissions?

All depends if you have a back-end offering. If you, say, had a 4-week course on making money with Kindle writing erotica with some coaching at $497 or $997 a pop, then sure - give away the front end in order to build a funnel into your back-end. When you have such a funnel you can also incorporate affiliates as they would get a portion on the back-end of giving away your front-end.

If, on the other hand, you have no back-end and do not intend to develop one, then you need to charge for your front-end offer in which case securing affiliates would be the way to go.

You have your sales page as yet? If not you should have sales page made up.
Having a back end will help alot as well. For 1 it will bring more income in from the product and 2 if you offer a percentage to your affiliate it will attract more affiliates knowing they will make more money promoting your product.
if you have a list you should send out a email letting your list know you got a wso coming soon as well to keep a look out for it.

Maybe spend a few mornings and evenings to pimp your product.
A product in one morning? get it proofread maybe..
Otherwise make a marketing strategy, identify your buyer personas, how to reach them etc.

Is there a demand? If so, what's the exact niche? Who's the avatar? What do they want? Why do they need to read your book?

What's the positioning? What's the hook?

Is direct response the right way to go?

Or is doing an Amazon campaign more up your alley?

Do your research. Don't just assume because YOU wanted to write a product... that people want to buy it. There has to be demand - no matter how big or small.

Depending on the route you want to take, the first thing do do is create your sales page or WSO. Then drive affiliates to it. There are quite a bit of products out there that will teach you how to get affiliates, but the best one in my opinion is The Secret Affiliate Sniper by Alex Jeffrey's. Just in case you wanted to further educate yourself on the topic.

You could either outsource the sales page and sales copy or do it yourself.

    Hope this help

You might have created a product for a niche that doesn't exist.

    [EXAMPLE]

If you sell it to affiliates on warrior forum, how will they make money from your affiliate program after that? Yes, i know you're offering 100% commission, but in a real sense, it's like you're giving them a 1-dimensional business... a business that can't possibly be long lasting. Especially if the price of the course is low. And especially for kindle sales, where they take a huge chunk of each sale you make.

But as a general reference from now on... never create a product that you haven't confirmed that a niche exists for it. You can't just create products then force upon a marketplace. I learned this the hard way. Don't let it happen to you.

Okay you have the guide which is great you can offer that to build a list. I don't agree with giving it away for free. You can offer it at $4 to $7 dollars. (By the way take that guide and put it up on Clickbank at a higher price.) That is your front end offer. If you have the cash find someone to write a good sales page and some nice graphics. You can find people on here that will do it for around $200.

You might consider next creating a video series which explains the guide in much greater detail and then using those in making a membership sight. (Take those videos and ebook and also create an Udemy course.) Have these videos in the membership area. This will be your first upsell. You can also add material monthly to this membership area. Have a members only Skype group or Facebook group with some limited access to ask you questions.

Third you might consider offering coaching or even a done for you product where you write book and maybe even promote it for someone. This you could offer at a price between $297 all the way up to $997.

Or if you just want to get your first WSO out of the way just do the first part. Just make sure your ebook as really great value. You can offer people a free copy for reviews in the Warriors for Hire section.
