To be honest, I wouldn't even attempt to go there. Doing something like that would probably be considered copyright infringement/a violation of some intellectual property.

    No.

You'd still have to mention the person. Would you like your name on a thousand tees? I push tees on FB, do nicely, and I suggest always - always - going the original route.

I sold a handful of PainfullyFIT, Pain is Coming... Tees on
TeeSpring and enjoyed using them. I would highly recommend creating your own Brand though.

use the quotes as a guide. but build your own brands. take a quote and make it funny etc.
or maybe use it and no one will ever find out. what the hell, try it.

It depends who or what you are quoting.

If you are quoting a movie or copyright work, like the big selling Shawn of the Dead shirts, then you are definitely violating copyright.

If you quote someone recent and famous, like Bob Marley, and they have a litigious estate, like Bob Marley, then you could be in trouble.

If you are quoting a public figure who made the quote in a public speech, then you are probably okay. Like a president.

If you are quoting someone famous from long ago then it is likely okay if it is what they said and not from a copyright work.

If you are quoting something in the public domain then it is fine. Like Shakespeare.
