What to do when all domains in hosting got hacked

Hello experts.

I just checked several days ago that all my domains in my hostgator account got hacked. Now when I go to the homepage of its website, they will show an image saying that it has been hacked.

If I add new domains to the hostgator account, will that new domain will also be in risk?

If so, how do I clean up the hostgator account?

What should I do to get back all my websites? Can I ask my hostgator account support to recover them?

Thanks all.

Rich

First Priority you have to contact your Service provider they have better idea how to handle hackers

All accounts you say? Well your only option is to contact Hostgator asap and hope they can fix it. Probably going to ask for an ID of you to prove yourself as the true owner.

The first thing you will need to do is contact your hosting. Get it done now

    Call hostgator right now.

When you get the problem fixed, backup your sites daily.

In addition to contacting them, there is another thing to ask them. I got mine hacked once and the best thing to do is set up a completely new hosting account with a different password and ask hostgator to migrate all files and data to the new account. They will do it one time for free. After that, they charge. That is the best and most secure fix in my opinion.

you should contact host gater to report this right away. Host gater may have a back up copy of your site if anything has been removed or altered.

You should ensure that you restore all your sites from your daily backups that you perform in case of such an event.

    Probably call your hosting provider
Scan your website files and see if you find any malware or suspicious code in it?
Change all of the FTP accounts and master password of hosting Cpanel as well
And if you have updated backup of your website then probably restored it.

His website went down in Dec. 2014....I am figuring the issue may be resolved by now.
