Custom T Shirt Printing Recommendations?

Hey,
I know there was a huge buzz around teespring, but are they still recommended and considered to be the best option?
I'm looking for best terms of revenue, fast delivery and possibly a bit loose on the copyrights matter.

    I'm not sure teespring was ever considered the best option for custom screen printed tshirts. You can probably find someone in your city to do it cheaper and within a few days. Not sure how many would willingly violate copyright laws, though.

    My advice is . . . whatever you're going to do in this regard . . . don't do it. It's foolish to see how close to the edge of a cliff you can stand.

    Tee Spring or any other T-shirt printer is not the organization you need to worry about for being "loose on copyright".

    It is the seller, not the printer, who will get sued.

    This Tee Spring seller was sued by Ohio State for putting the trademarked "wave" on a shirt. You wouldn't think a design like this would violate trademark but it does.

        Lot's of people make good money violating copyright.

        The recent huge selling Shawn of the Dead quote shirts are a good example.

        But you never know when some weird shirt is going to spark legal action. The Ohio State case is good example.

        So it's a gamble to try and use copyright material.

        Universities in the U.S. seem especially litigious.

        Movie studios, for some reason, not so much.

        I base this assumption on the plethora of Star Trek, Star Wars, Shawn of the Dead (and every other nutty Sci-Fi TV show and movie) shirts that seem to be flogged with impunity.

    I personally recommend, select a design, find a supplier/drop shipper, make some sample, start marketing both online & offline, grab orders from individuals, supershops, retailers, wholesalers, markets etc. Give order to supplier/drop shipper, get delivered.

    I've tried Sunfrog and it works well too! The good thing about Sunfrog is that they don't have minimum goal per campaign. So it doesn't matter if you only sold 1 shirt. And you can also sell other people's design and make a profit as well.

      Can you share what the payout or profit share is like with that network? It looks cool if you don't care about what you're throwing out there... but if you're trying to build a brand, I'm not sure it's the best way to do it.
