So I'm doing niche research atm.
I'm looking at a specific niche and trying to assess how much competition there is & therefore if there is money to be made.
Here's what I've found and it seems odd:
A decent amount of products for this niche currently been promoted on ClickBank with a gravity score of 5 and above (in many cases much higher).
Additionally there is a lot of niche related products on Amazon which have lots of reviews/seem to be doing well.
So far things seem good right, signs indicate that money is changing hands here right?
But then when I do some keyword research using Google Keyword Planner I see there is a huge amount of searchers but hardly any competition at all. Like, no competition. When I search for the term myself I get zero ads appearing, and Keyword Planner estimates I could get ranked 1 - 2 for as little as 0.10 cpc.
What's going on here? I would have though that CB products selling well, related Amazon products selling well would correlate to a lot of Google competition.
Does this mean I've found a great niche to get into? I find this hard to believe as it's a niche that has been around forever and it's a massive worldwide market. To me something doesn't add up here.
Can anyone provide any thoughts to this?
