I have problems promoting clickbank products on my blog

Hi,

I have a blog and I have completed the basic important steps in becoming an affiliate marketer, but the roadblock I'm having now is:

  • How do I find topics (posts) to write on my blog that I can promote Clickbank products on?
Please anyone know any good source? I have visited google trends to pick trending topics (make money online - affiliate marketing, content marketing... internet marketing in general...) but I couldn't find any trending topic on these topics above from google trends.

    The best route is to narrow it down and pick a narrow market. Something like make money can be so generic and so many sub markets, like affiliate marketing, CPA, SEO, product creation, and on and on. Obviously the more you target your traffic, the better they should convert.

    No one can tell you exactly what to pick, we don't know you and it's often a personal choice. Maybe look at things that you enjoy, that get your excited. Better yet, do what you already know or have knowledge in.

    Yahoo! Answers - https://answers.yahoo.com/

    Answers.com - Answers - The Most Trusted Place for Answering Life's Questions

    These sites should give you a good idea of what people are asking and what they need help with.

    For example, your blog is

    AddictionTreatmentBlog.com

    search in ClickBank Marketplace with the search term "addiction treatment", you probably get 100s of result.....

    Open each website, and rewrite in your style..... make sure you will be writing 100s of blog posts this way, each ClickBank product makes one blog post....

    Use Blog title as the main product name + a sub keyword that you can find using Google Keyword Planner by searching with product name, choose one of them that is best suited with the product name but has different keyword so that you will rank that keyword too.

    When your blog has 100s of quality posts, you will notice search engine visitors that are targeted visitors in themselves...

    It sounds as if you are writing about 'how to' internet marketing. And, there won't really be any trends for that. You would find trending stories about celebrities and other seasonal/topical subjects. But not likely internet marketing related.

    As for what to write about, ditch the internet marketing how to niche and find something people really want to read about such as relationships, dating, break up advice, pet care, weight loss, etc. Any of these will be easier to monetize with Clickbank than the IM or MMO niche.

    First things first, what is your blog about? Sometimes for me it would be easier to promote a drilled down topic instead of a broad topic.

    An example would be say on a fishing blog your topic of the entire blog could be the broad subject but then your post could be a more narrowed niche within fishing itself say how a particular fishing rod is better for catching a certain type of fish then you could promote a fishing rod from amazon.

    If you are thinking you can have a Blog and just put Clickbank Products on them and just start magically selling, well you are misguided and not optimizing the situation.

    The only effective way to sell Clickbank products is thru Email Marketing. i.e having a optin form somewhere on that Blog where people sign up and receive emails from you . After awhile, you can start recommended Clickbank products that will help them within these Emails.

    I think you'll find that most people build their blogs out around a niche in which they can then sell products. E.g. Health and Fitness.

      What's your Blog about?

      Remember a blog is not just to sell things. It's to connect with like minded people

      Your blog must give value and great content.

      Why would someone visit your blog if it's about a topic that you don't know about?

      Sounds like your just writing post that have a product you can sell like a Billboard or something...

      Who would someone want to read a blog full of pitches and no content?

    Yes I agree with Andre. People aren't watching TV for the commercials, they are watching for the shows and movies. They're watching the commercials because they are placed in between.

      You have summed up in an enlightening way the concept of internet marketing with a blog.

      I never thought about it that way before. It is easier to grasp and explain internet marketing with a blog with your concept.

      The content is the TV show. The blog is the channel.
      Unlike with TV, the advertising should be targeted to the readers (watchers of the show) and should also be targeted to the type of content (type of shows) currently being watched.

      The good part with a blog, is that unlike TV we can offer the readers (watchers of the show) to become part of a list. That list provides MORE of the content they want. That content should be EXCLUSIVE to those who subscribe for free with no strings attached.

      That is the real magic of a blog, with the list, we can provide exclusive shows (content) a link to other pages with more exclusive content with advertising or from time to time send an advertising in between shows (content) sent in their email.

      If done right with class while making it targeted, we make the readers happy and our wallet happy.

    Seriously there isn't any point in promoting a CB product if you cannot at least identify your target audience and have some empathy for their pain points and realize that the CB product in question will be able to help... If you cannot find such value then move onto one that at least ignites some passion and interest in a subject area... Even better why not buy the product and do a real review and not what seemingly 99% do with faking it...
