Affiliate Link Cloaking

I understand what affiliate cloaking is but what WP plugins are recommended? Why do I need to hide my affilaite links? Could my visitors steal them? Not sure why???

    There are other reasons too.

    You can use a plug-in like prettylink or a more in depth paid service like clickmagick.

      I am using adtraczgold to cloak my link. When you use it, the cloaked campaign will appear after your URL name (which is dot com, followed by slash) before ended with .html ie http://www.yourdomain.com/campaign.html.

      By having your affiliate link linking with your main URL, it would make your promoted product being perceived as better professionally. You can get the statistics showing numbers of clicks done for your evaluation too.

    Brent explained very well the difference between cloaked and normal affiliate link.

    Personally use Simple Link Cloaker which is a very simple and powerful plugin to cloak links
