Youtube comments and your Adsense account

Let's assume for a minute that you have left your Youtube comments open on your video and someone makes a comment that somehow violates Google Adsense TOS content policy. Could your Adsense account (as a Youtube partner) be suspended for failure to moderate and remove that comment? Is this a real possibility?

This question is inspired by this Google page:

Would this policy apply to Youtube comments made by users?

    Of course not.

YouTube/Google has no control over what appears on your own sites. That is 100% on you. The moderation of YouTube comments on the other hand ultimately falls upon YouTube themselves.

This famous Youtuber cut off his video comments to restrict trolls and spammers.

He blames Youtube for not controlling the spam issue. So it seems that Youtube is not really taking any steps to curb the comment spam problem.

It's very ironic how stringent Youtube is about uploaded videos, easily deleting/banning Youtube accounts but they take no responsibility for curbing the spam comment issue by users.

It's likely Youtube sees spam as the channel owner's problem. So maybe by that logic, Adsense would penalize if you don't delete comment spam off your Youtube channel, (assuming the comment contained an Adsense TOS violation such as hate speech or violence), just as they would if you allowed similar comment spam to stay up on your blog. Just my theory. What do you think?

I think you should stop worrying about irrelevant hypothetical situations.

If Google started killing partner accounts because of vile comments left by viewers they would be inflicting harm upon themselves. Many broadcasters who are an asset to YouTube would lose their partner account and thus have little reason to produce more videos for YouTube.

But this is Google we are talking about. Reasonableness. Fairness. Customer support. They all seem to be foreign concepts.

YouTube comments are a mess and I generally disable the option.

No, Google is not going to suspend your account for someone else's mistake. There are some videos that get thousands of comments in a day and it is difficult to monitor each and every of them.
