Worth a warrior special offer? Risks involved?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if it's ok to ask this in the main forum. Sincere apologise if not!

I've never posted (or purchased!) a Warrior Special Offer and I was hoping to get some feedback about them and whether there would be interest in the information I potentially have to offer.

I've started a niche website and am currently making over $1000 per month.

I realise this isn't a huge amount compared to what some people make, but it's certainly a lot to me and to plenty of other people, and I've done it at very little cost, have gained a lot of experience and learned a lot along the way.

I was thinking of putting a document together that explains in detail the exact steps I took to get to where I am today and what I plan to do next.

However, I have a few questions and concerns:

- Do you think there would be demand for this info?
- Would it be a big risk to reveal my website? I think people would want to see the site I'm talking about, but I wouldn't want to risk drawing any malicious activity (hacking attempts, click-bombing, etc).
- Does anyone have any guidance on pricing or the revenue potential of such an offer?

Thanks for any feedback and again, apologies if this kind of post isn't allowed for any reason or if this isn't the correct place for it.

    HUGE risk - I would not do that. If you have a reliably profitable website, it would be CRAZY in my opinion to reveal is in the hope of making a few bucks from a WSO.

    You've been here since 2012 and have never purchased a WSO? Maybe you need to research some of the sales pages and see what's being sold? If you have some method or shortcut or easy to implement plan that you can write a report about...it might be WSO worthy. It might sell - it might not.

    However, it's something you have to research and decide as discussing it before hand can quickly look like ''pre-promotion" and not be allowed.

    Never, ever reveal your site. A lot of people will be happy for you, others will try to be your competitor.

      Adam,

      Years ago, before I knew better, I spoke of one of my web sites on the forum. It wasn't long before one of the members copied what I was doing. Not only did he blatantly rip off my idea, he stole my sales letter copy, my exact layout, and even had the nerve to rip off my images.

      So I now make it a point to not reveal how I am making money. I do have a web site in my sig file, but it's my personal blog and there is nothing for sale on the site.

      It's a sad commentary on the state of affairs online these days. But you will risk losing your $1,000/month income if you have a profitable business. It's much more than most people here make and some folks think everything online is "fair game" for copying.

    You'd be jeopardizing your income as that by far would be the biggest risk. Many people would attempt to hijack your traffic sources (eg if you get any traffic from search engines the SEO types will look to rank their pages over yours for the keywords you are ranking for).

    P.S. that goes for signature links. In all the years I have been here I would never put a site that makes significant non WF money in my sig. You keep your non WF sites completely separate even if you have to have two different sites offering the same or near the same things.

      Thanks guys. That's really helpful.

      I had a feeling that would be the case. It's a shame - I'm sure plenty of honest people could benefit from others sharing their sites as examples, discussing each others sites, etc - but you're right, sharing the site is not worth the risk.

    Just because you rank videos, doesn't mean you have to show the video...

    Just because you do FB ads, doesn't mean you have to give your full campaign...

    And so on and so forth.

    Same thing goes with revealing your site...

    So it's completely up to you

    Start a NEW site, apply the techniques you Know to that site and use it as your case study (Product)

    You can still show people what you did, how you did it and why, but with NO risk to your current site.

    A new domain and hosting is less than 10 Bucks.

    That's what I would do anyway.

    Don't reveal your site, it's not worth the risk. Creating a new one as a case study sounds like a better idea.

    I'm with Oda. Do a dummy website or case study specifically for your wso (many warriors have done just this), to protect yourself.

    You have learnt many skills and have had lots of practice on your main site all you need to do is replicate them on the dummy site for others to see how to do it. You can even do "look over my shoulders" videos as you set it up for them to watch. I believe many will buy your wso just on the value this style of learning gives them.
    You don't need to do the same niche either just use your research skills pick something small on amazon in a big market, so it does'nt matter if your dummy site is copied by some buyers (because they're too lazy to do the learning themselves).

    $1000, is not small at all, I don't know how long it took you to build it up to that level that it's consistent earnings, but that's way more than many here have achieved for a first site so congratulations. It really is up to you but you would be helping people see what can be achieved with hard work and some self belief.

      Yeh I agree with the others here. You have to be careful.
      There is no reason why you couldn't create a simple example website that you could use specifically for your course.

      Obviously it would not be making any money but you could use it to show and example of your layout, content style, plugins, etc...
