The title of your thread assumes you're interested in buying an email list as opposed to actually using paid traffic to build the list that you currently have.

You could test it with BING ads or Facebook PPC, but don't expect the CPC to be dead cheap right out the gate. But rather than pitching offers to them from the start, have you considered connecting with the leads that you currently have, to see whether thee is anything you can do to help them achieve what they want?

Whether it be to create an informative video, a call on Skype, an informative blog post? Then include how that product, could solve exactly what they're trying to achieve.

Targeting is key, but it also comes down to how you respond to your subscribers.

personally, I think the Paleo Diet is on the decline. If you check Google News you will see and that the latest information is showing that the Paleo diet is not based on historical fact. On the other hand if you look into plant-based or vegan diet you will see clearly it is on the increase.

With a little creativity you can get very targeted subscribers.

You're in a tough situation. Usually, it takes money to make money. Paid traffic is the far better option for targeted and quick traffic.

However, since you have a tight budget:

Make sure your squeeze page is optimized so you get as many optins as you can
You should have a strong funnel that asks for multiple sales
You should have a good autoresponder series to capture additional sales
You should offer something of great value to your prospects and incentivize them to share it
Create a webinar to get attendess and make a good offer at the end
Then go share it with your audience and other people's audience

I think you should focus on a good relationship with your list buddy if you do it correctly you can start turning those the bad subscriber into buyers for me it doesn't matter what the traffic source is if you have good relationship with your list you will definitely make money out of it

To be honest with you - You will find it very hard to invest good traffic with only $21. I know because I was once in that situation. I would focus on free methods like video marketing till you have an initial income coming your way then start small and then scale big.

Instead of investing money in facebook advertising, I suggest you to focus on Youtube marketing. Learn how to make simple video for youtube. You can make slides in powerpoint and convert them into youtube videos. Google for it and you will find it very easy.

Make a channel on youtube, make several videos and put your squeeze page link in first line of description.

Secondly, add some good and short slides to slideshare.net to promote your squeeze page.

Third option is to participate in health related forums using your squeeze page link in signature.

Spend some time and you will get targeted list of subscribers from these sources that will convert better.
