Does anyone know if advertising with WF works well or not? Anyone have any results?

Well if you're talking about banner ads then i can't give you any proof, but for launching Wso's i can assure you that it's definately worthwhile to advertise your business.

The banner ads seem to get sold all the time so i assume it works too.

I've seen this question a coupleof times (regarding banner ads), and while i haven't seen stats, most people seemed to agree that they made profits.

  That's something i'm also interested in, and would be a good start to determine whether or not it's profitable.
  
  I guess it depends on how many slots are sold that day and ofcourse the traffic that day so will be different alll the time, but it would be nice to get some examples.

Warrior Forum is a great place to advertise why wouldn't it ?

It has a good Alexa rank and if internet marketing is your niche it's a perfect place to place an ad.

If you are offering something like weight loss, or quit smoking than it wouldn't be my first choice to place an ad.

  Just to add another point.
  
  if you are advertising info on the warrior forum, it is best to create info that is a lot like what you are selling and use that a lead magnet.
  
  If you are going to buy an ad space on the WF, I would set up two landers and see which one performs the best.
  
  This way going forward, you will have optimized your campaign.
  
  In addition, you can also test different calls to action on Facebook and then use your most successful one on the warrior forum.

I agree. Warrior Forum is a great place to generate leads and sales with the Banner Advertising. There are several WSOs that show video proof that it converts very well. Especially the top banner ads where you get 24 hour exposure for only $100. I also agree that it would be most advantageous to split test multiple ads.

Ask the owners for some site stats. From there you should be able to estimate the amount of traffic using industry CTR as a base.

  One last thing.
  
  There is a mindset of general "browsers" on the forum and there is a mindset of people looking in the paid WSO section.
  
  Whatever you do, make sure that your offer is clear. This way, when you build a list you will not get an inflated number.
  
  If you have something that is general, test it. They key is to test, test, test.

  I've done banner ads on and off here since 2012, and I have never lost money on them. Most of the time I make money, and when I don't, I break even, and get those emails on my list.
  
  Keep in mind, all my banner ads have pointed to WSOs here on the Forum. When I tried advertising an offer that was off the forum, it did not do so well, although I broke even there too.
