    You have to check their terms of service. Most do (including ClickBank) but AdWords doesn't allow direct-linking to sales pages.

    But why would you want to do this? It wouldn't make too much sense to direct-link from an AdWords (or similar) ad to an affiliate offer? That would be like trying to fill the bath by opening the taps fully but without remembering to put the plug in the hole first: you'd be losing almost everything, almost immediately. Would you really want to pay for traffic, and not even try to retain any of it via an opt-in page of some kind?

    Here's the thing: to earn significant money from affiliate marketing, you need to do three things ...

    (i) Keep your potential customers returning to the sales page (because not so many people buy anthing much at their first visit to a sales page!);

    (ii) Make increasing sales (ideally at progressively higher prices) to the same "captive audience" who regularly rely on and trust your recommendations;

    (iii) Establish the credibility and trust necessary to do both the above by earning's people respect as a provider of niche-related information.

    Without building lists, of course, you can't do any of the three and you'd just be throwing away almost all the traffic you ever generate that doesn't buy anything immediately.

    These three threads are more informative ...

    Is it a good idea to spend some time on building a mailing list ?

    I think pretty well all affiliate companies allow redirecting. They don't care where your traffic comes from, they just care about how many sale you can make with their products.

    If the affiliate company has 'integrity', they will care about how you promote them based on 'compliance'. The more reputable affiliate companies want to remain legal and transparent for the long run!

    Google doesn't allow you to send traffic to your affiliate link even if you 'redirect' it.

    If they catch you, they will ban you from Adwords!

    Both Adwords and Bing are NOT cheap. So just like Lexy said above, send traffic to your 'lead capture' page and build your list.
