Sales Page Video

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Warriors,

Second Attempt...Watching one of my daily sales offers in my email and came across a sales page that ,in my opinion, was nice and may work well.

I have seen this before but never gave it any thought until now. The page was completely white and only had a video to start. After the video ran through 90% then the offer appeared below with the pay button.

1. Has anyone used this concept with any success? The reason I ask is because this one is from some successful marketers.

2. What technology is being used for this?

If any of you Warriors even a remote idea I would appreciate it.

Sounds like what you are referring to, is a video sales letter (AKA: VSL)...

I use them myself, as they work wonders.

My setup?

OptimizePress, with the video hosted on Amazon S3.

You'll need a mic and some type of video editing and audio editing software as well.

Camtasia and Audacity are my two 'weapons of choice'

  I know in Optimize Press you set the amount of seconds when you want the "add to cart" or pay button or whatever you want to appear. Im sure there are other ways to do it if you dont use OP.

Most sales videos these days only have some text at the top of the page so that the visitor knows what they are about to see.

Underneath that, there is a video that starts automatically and after a few minutes, a buy now button appears.

This works really well but your sales will all depend on the type of traffic you are getting. You always want good quality traffic and also targeted.

Hi Brian.

In answer to your questions:

1) Yes, I have been very successful with video sales letters. The key is though, to do both, and this is what a lot of people miss. Have a VSL, but also have a link to a more traditional style of sales letter. People still like to sit and read. - Give them a choice!

2) Optimizepress does this easily. There are even ready made templates where you can just slot in your video, change the text and add your payment code and you are good to go.

Profit builder also does this as well, though I recommend OP over PB.

OptimizePress has a delayed timer that will do this, probably your best option since OP 2.0 rocks.
