Has SAMCART gone under?
Ha! Not so easy!
I contacted them in November to cancel but they charged me again anyways. I then contacted them asking they refund the renewal and cancel cancel. I got a confirming email back that they would do so. Still didn't get a refund. And then they charged me again in December. I contacted them again via their support site. That generated an auto-response that they no longer use this ticket tracking system and I should submit another ticket to them on another service. That didn't work either. Neither did various emails back to them.
So I looked at my bank statement and got their phone number from their merchant account. Dialed the number and "boo-OOOH-WOOOH... I'm sorry - the number you have dialed is no longer in service"
If anyone knows of a way I can contact a real live person at SAMCART and get them to stop charging me and refund the payments they took out I would appreciate it very much.
Yes - I can get my bank to do a charge-back BUT that means I have to get a new card and go into 20+ different services I use to update my card number for the services I need to keep going. SO hoping someone here has a way to get SAMCART to respond and take care of this problem.
