Traffic for adsense?

I have created a new site Pre Owned Watches | Swiss Watches For Men | Watch Brands | Nice Watches For Men in the hope to monitize it with adsense! The site is quite new so no real traffic, I have tried facebook for traffic wuth poor results. We love some advice etc....

    This is typical Made for adsense site.

    I would suggest that add some more articles.You can use content curation technique.Target some long term keyword with good information articles.

    Apart from that , you can use guest blogging for some instant spike in traffic.

    If it's for adsense you need a lot of content for it...
    Write articles or get them written for you or just syndicate from other places... but getting traffic is quite tough if you don't plan on investing either time or money in it...

      Why is it that people always implement ideas without figuring out the marketing part first?

      For your site, I think good old SEO is the way to go. You might try Buy Sell Ads too.

    Very much depends on the niche. Some niche get traffic easily, but get very low CTR. In simple terms, create a lot of content and promote it as hard as you can.

    Seems like you already have your site heavily monetized. And, the Infolinks makes the site look very unprofessional. If you are going to use Adsense, then stick with that and intersperse with Amazon reviews on watches.

      How did your blog get approved with so small amount of content and traffic? I am also thinking about Adsense, but I have only about 8 pages of content and also little traffic. So I am curious about it.

        To give you a little bit of conctructive criticism, I think the site looks nice and clean but it needs a more professional logo (one that blends nicely with the template).

        It will be hard to get repeat visitors if they land on your site and see a poor-looking logo because it looks like just any old site. That alone will cause your traffic to suffer.

        It also needs more content and you can get a lot of traffic by targeting long tail keywords with at least 200 exact match monthly searches and little competition. I typed in the keyword "pre owned watches" into Market Samurai and even if you received 100 awesome backlinks within the next two years, you would still have trouble ranking on page 1 of Google. The keyword is way too competitive!

        If you go the free route in finding keywords, use Google Keyword Planner, type in "pre owned watches" and grab all the keywords under 500 exact match searches. Then, test them out one at a time by placing each keyword in the Google search box with quotations like this: "your keyword".

        Choose the ones with less than 50,000 results where it says, "about x number results". Then write 5 more articles using the best ones as the main keyword and the other ones as secondary KWs.

        Post the articles three days apart, ping, and sit back and wait. Traffic will likely come trickling in before you know it!

        Stay away from backlinking for now, except if you're going to make a couple of Youtube videos (these will also bring in a trickle of traffic if done right).

        To make it way easier, I would suggest investing in a good keyword finding tool and continuing to find long tail keywords you can rank for. Then, and only then, will you possibly get a lot of traffic.

    I get traffic to my site by SEO techniques, article marketing (yes, it's still alive well,) social media and social book marking sites. I also use free ebooks with links back to my site and squeeze pages. Forum marketing works fine too.

    I have noticed that my adsense revenue has been increasing over the last few months. I guess Google's getting better at targeting than they use to be.

    Hi Richard, create a valuable blog and connect with leaders in that niche. Or connect with leaders in similar niches, to learn from them and to establish your authority. Money responds well to value. Building up your content base and publishing pillar style posts - while connecting with pros in your niche - will help you form the bonds and gain the trust of your audience which leads to prospering.

    From my own experience, I find that adding content over the time helps. Maybe you can do the same like adding quality content. I usually try to put in content with different slants on that particular topic. Say you can post about the brands, do a top 10 list and such. Sometimes I target long tail keywords and create contents on that.

    Already you tried to FB, of course it is a good idea. Beside the FB, you can use some others Social media sites. You also use the Article submission, book marking, RSS, blog commenting, forum posting, I mean you need to make more & more back linking, to increase your site traffic.
