Hey guys,

If you are in the solo ads biz you probably have some tips to share
We all can share our knowledge here and help each other to grow.

My personal tip is to clean your list once a week from those who are undeliverable/unsubscribed and eraze all of the leads that have not open any email in the last month.

Whenever i like to buy solo ads, i go to the facebook groups and find some good testimonials , then i only buy from that vendor.

My tip is to buy only if u can find some decent testimonials from real people. If some one sells so cheaply ,then do not jump on it but search for real testimonials.

Make sure your sales funnel is 'up to par'...

Then again, that would be my advice for any paid traffic source

^ What James said. To have success with solo ads, you need to do the things that make you successful with any paid traffic source. Here's a list to start:
    • Provide immense value in your lead magnet (whether that's an ebook, video, email course, etc.)
    • Have a set of autoresponder emails ready to go. These emails should provide even more value to your subscribers, and shouldn't be salesy until you've built trust.
    • Have a multi-tiered product mix, which means have solutions at different price points so that you can funnel people from your lower-end offers to your higher ticket items
    • Closely monitor your metrics. This means monitoring your click-thru rate, opt-in rate, email open rate, and ultimately your conversion rate (which means SALES)
    • A/B test all aspects of your funnel!

Apart from getting engaged in Facebook groups, read testimonials and having a professional landing page with a cool offer I think you should go SMALL. Invest small and see which offer or landing page is giving you good result. Solo ad works great if you know how to do it.

Make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you Split Test your landing pages across several other solo providers and their lists. I can provide you with a good tracking spreadsheet with the necessary formulas to truly understand your conversion numbers if you PM me.

Once you have a winning combination of ad copy and your landing page(s), don't deviate from it unless you have to. Also make sure that the offers you run are very closely aligned to your existing list.

I also recommend using "Quality Click Control" as your tracking software as it allows complete flexibility and control over what you are sending and receiving. You can also provide your customers their own statistics link that they can reference for their traffic campaign.

    Hi tomergrin,

my personal experiences with solo ads are that they only convert with Biz opp Offers...

Also you should hammer them with these offers...

When buying solos it's important to test your funnel, not just collecting leads. What I mean by this is having a funnel that separates the buyers from the opportunity seekers. That's not to say that opportunity seekers don't have value, they can, it's just that you want to know who the spenders are right away.
Separating them onto a different list helps because then you can learn what they like and prefer, that way you can market to them what they want and genuinely help them.

When buying solos, always buy 200 clicks to start, as this will give you enough numbers to work with.

Also, only buy from recommended sellers. There is a facebook testimonials group that I always use
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/.

I would be dubious about using seller that was not recommended within this group

I am going to agree and add to the sentiments here.

Buy small packages to begin with, split test until you find an ad and a landing page that works well, and then you can bump up your packages.

Solo ad providers are supposed to keep their list fresh. If that's the case, then you have new people who will see your ad and links.

Split test your optin page and make sure that it converts well first.

Always ask the seller if your offer will interest his list.

Go for 200 clicks at first just to test things out.

Solo Ads is a numbers game. The quality, for the most part, are medium to poor compared to other forms of traffic.

That being said, when I find a Solo Ad vendor that has decent deliverability and has close to a 50% optin rate, I scale up with that Vendor my second Order and Buy a few thousand clicks. ( My first Order being around 100 to 300 clicks to test)
