INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Guys and Girls

Which do you think is a better niche to to target

or

2) Helping Women attract men

Thanks

It seems like there's less competition in the "helping women attract men" niche. Even though there's less competition, I'd be more inclined to choose that niche since I pay for most of my traffic.

In direct marketing circles it is widely known that men make far more purchases than women do when it comes to information products. However, I'd be curious to know the stats on this related to dating sites like match.com.

One way to check this is to see which products are more prevalent out there - helping men attract women or vice versa. Whichever is more prevalent, go for that one. Those products wouldn't exist if there wasn't plenty of fruit.

I hope this does not sound sexist, but in my experience when men are desperate all a woman has to do is look their way to get them attracted. Heck, most men don't even need to be that desperate.

Luckily, I've been with my wife for over 18 years, so it doesn't really apply to me, but I definitely remember what it was like.

On the other hand, we are talking about niches here. So, my guess is that #2 has less competition, but there may be a reason for it. As mentioned before, I really think it is easy for women to attract men, BUT maybe the real niche for #2 is "How to Attract the RIGHT Man".

Just a thought,
Michael

Explore the possibility of a third niche: those trying to dump someone. I think it's a tougher problem. Just an idea...

I'd ad a little twist to both and you may just clean up: Helping women attract men ONLINE.

This is a big, big concern for a lot of my friends.

Yes, what I'm about to say will peg me as a bit "weird" but it's how I roll...

A few months ago I helped my ex girlfriend write her online profile. She had been getting tons of total a-holes hitting her up and was just sick of attracting the wrong guys.

So she asked me to help he out with a little "marketing spin" on the situation.

We redid the photo, redid the heading, the intro... the entire thing to focus on attracting the type of guy she was into.

End of story: Her overall total # of emails dropped in a big way, but the ones she started getting were from guys more closely related to who she'd want to be with.

I think that would be a massive market based on what I've seen just in my own little circle of influence.

You could do this for both men as well as women. I know there are a few spots out there providing a service like this so the market does exist.

Just think of the potential JV partners... Friend Finder, eHarmony, GetYourGrooveOn.org... (I *think I made that last one up...)

  Thanks

Why not target both niches at the same time or even multiple niches? You could have an ebook that focuses on "How To Attract" and then devote chapters (sprinkled with affiliate links to products) that cover specific niches:

Helping women attract the right man
Helping men attract the right women
Helping men attract the right man
Helping women attract the rigth women
Helping divorced women/men attract the right man/women
Helping senior men attract senior women...etc

Perhaps you use each chapter as a presell to another seperate product that provides more indepth information for each seperate niche. This could be your backsell...etc

Helping men attract women. 100% no doubt is the better niche.

If you want to target women focus on improving current relationship that they are in.

It's really quite simple. Madame de Stael (1766-1817) figured it out long ago:
"The desire of the man is for the woman, but the desire of the woman is for the desire of the man.”

Any niche that has high demand and high competition is great, just like the IM niche, the helping men attract women niche is living proof that the only thing high competition means is that it sells like crazy.

So, I'd go for the men attract women niche, even though the other one could be quite profitable as well.

High competition means money and only those who fall for the "scare tactics" would think otherwise.

Hint: Use high competition to your advantage.

  Thanks
