Hi everyone,

I was hoping everyone could give me some advice on the niche I'm thinking about. I've gone around and around thinking of something that I'm passionate about (or at least very interested in). I know there are a lot of them out there already, but something I love doing / vacation at, and I love talking about, is Disney World. I've gone there about 8 times and I could talk about it with people endlessly.

My concern is, is there really a good way to monetize a site about Disney World vacationing? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Few ideas:

2 basic options would be earning an affiliate commission or selling cheap, short reports that describe various tricks of the trade. The reports could be electronic only or hard copy so they could carry them around.

Travel guides (where to stay, other places to go around DL) - this could be report or affiliate
Tricks to not have to wait so long for the rides
How to not cope with your kids (DL is a huge place, lots of walking, kids get tired and cranky, etc.)
Eating at DL on a budget
Best rides prioritized according to age and interest
Which rides to avoid with certain health issues
    Staying safe from pickpockets, etc.
Best places to eat in the Kingdom along with reviews and general pricing

While there are a lot of these kinds of things already available, I see no reason you couldn't turn this hobby into a little side income. Just need to add your own slant or flavor to the information.

You could always stick Adsense on it.

I would try the affiliate or reports idea that Mark suggest first, since the size of your niche probably won't generate you a whole lot of income from just Adsense clicks.

Some Ebayers bought one year tickets which they leased out to us. They seemed to have a good business going.

travel is a good niche. I'd look to see if you can find any affiliate programs for booking hotels near disney land and buying plane tickets.. Also, think about disney cruise ship.. Those have a big price tag (and may have an affiliate program too!)
