We all know the basic tips. Build a list, offer quality content, have patience, etc.

But what the secrets you've never told anybody on how to be successful online?

In all due respect, there is really no secret to success. Not just in IM but everything in Life.

Sure... there are Strategies, Steps, Tips etc..etc.. to learn but for the most part those are NOT secrets.

Its all out there for everyone to see. The problem is many people just do not want to do the dirty work to make it happen

      Hennen,

The mere fact that you're asking about IM secrets suggests that you're looking for the wrong kind of solution for building a profitable business.

As Robert has stated, secrets in IM really don't exist. Yes, if you don't know something then maybe that is a "secret" to you but with some observation and willingness to learn, those kinds of "secrets" are revealed every day of the week.

The fact that it stands for International Master (or occasionally Infectious Mononucleosis), rather than Intermediate Modulation as some people imagine.

More seriously, I don't even try to answer directly when people ask that, because some experience has led me to believe that people asking this are very unlikely to be successful, whatever answer they get: there aren't really "secrets" that are going to help them, in the sense they're thinking of. And helping them to appreciate that is really doing them a far greater favor, overall.

    There really isn't a secret.

It all starts with you. Your 'Mindset' will be the key determining factor of your success. I am not going to go into some 'Think and Grow Rich' spiel with you.

Having a good mindset can be summed up with a few sentences...

    'I am deserving of success'

    'I believe in myself'.

Instant gratification will not be granted. But you will need to keep pushing through all the bull $hit in order to get where you want to be.

And most people will lack the belief needed but here is one thing that is more powerful than belief...

And that is your desire level!!

I love this - and it's so true. The biggest hurdle I have, and still struggle with from time to time is the "i deserve it/I believe in myself" mindset. If you haven't convinced yourself, you're not convincing anyone else.

by far the biggest secret to success in IM or any entrepreneurial venture in my opinion is to learn effective "management of me" techniques. That incorporates a lot, but if you are serious, you need to forget IM for a bit until you learn how to actually be an entrepreneur and what that entails.

probably not the answer you were looking for, but there really arent any real secrets.

Virtually the entire IM industry is in fact pretty much rehashed stuff that many many marketers from past generations have taught for decades or more in some cases. Outside of a few technology aspects, I dont really think i have seen much in the way of truly unique secrets from any of the " gurus"

butterfly marketing, mass control..... all of these things were well documented, studied, and taught to millions long before IM gurus brought them to the attention of IMers.

The marketing "secrets" you speak of can be found in books that date back into the nearly the first printed books.

I'm confused! Wouldn't these 3 things you mentioned make you successful online?

Experts are experts because they mastered the basics

No secrets......you need a belief in yourself and your abilities, perseverance, patience, a willingness to always be learning and to understand that there will be failures.

    There isn't a secret...

People always search for secrets and they are buying shyness objects every day. STOP buying them and start working.

Most people don't succeed in IM because they don’t want to step outside their comfort zone and do anything that will make them uncomfortable or do things that other people don’t want to do.

Successful people do the things normal people don’t want to do!

My biggest secrets are figuring out creative ways to utilize fiverr.com, lots of safe-list upgrading, program reputation control through article marketing (and fiverr once again), frequent program launching, just to name a few

Good luck and try reading through the lines for all the replies you are getting here in this thread.

  • The biggest IM "Secret" that I've learned and kept closely guarded for years, until today, is that there really are no secrets at all, as some Warriors have already stated here.

Sometimes marketers may take their knowledge obtained, (experience, strategies and sometimes common business sense) and package that info into a mysterious looking presentation worthy of a Hollywood release. This is then sold to marketers who may have browsed this entire forum, and read allot of useful information shared freely by brilliant minds such as Lexy, but still believe that there are hidden formulas used by the elite only.

I think an "IM secrets thread" would do well on this forum.
