Warrior Forum Wednesdays - How do you structure you IM week?

Everyday I just kind of float around doing different internet marketing work but I'm thinking it's a little to unorganized and sometimes I get stuck on what I should work on next. Should I pick a different topic to work on for every day of the week like say...Warrior Forum Wednesdays, Facebook Fridays and some other topics for the other days?

How do you structure your IM work week?

    1. Figure out your end goal.
    2. Break it down per year, per month, per week, per day on what it's going to take to get there.
    3. Systemize your most important tasks to start the day (i.e. lead generation, following up with subscribers / customers.
    4. Bulk your work (i.e. try to get a bulk worth of emails, videos or FB posts or something of that nature done in 1-2 days).

    Just some ideas for you.

I believe in #2 completely. You want to break it down so that you have goals of what you want to accomplish right now that will then help you create the "end" goal.

And yes, systemize everything as best as you can so that you know what you're doing on each day.

Shaolinsteve nailed it for me. This is exactly what I have tried to do. Obviously its much easier on paper than it is in real life. However, this gets you a plan and stops you from wondering all the time. Figure out the top 2-3 things that have the most impact on your business and spend 90% of your time on those activities.

I've broken it down into the five core areas that generate money for my business. So here's how I structure my week and maintain focus:
    • Mondays = content development (blogging, responding to media inquiries, guest blogging, etc.)
    • Tuesdays = list building activities (creating and monitoring ad campaigns, checking all of my metrics, creating new lead magnets, creating all of the relevant pages for my funnel [such as squeeze pages, thank you pages, etc.], and loading messages into my autoresponder). I also work on webinars, etc. on Tuesdays.
    • Wednesdays = Working on my products. That could mean adding new bonus material for my students, creating new products, planning out the next few months of my launch cycles, etc.
    • Thursdays = Live events. This is the day of the week that I host all coaching calls, masterminds, live webinars, etc. I also alternate weeks so that I can do some in-person meetings in the morning on Thursdays (such as those "grab a coffee" meetings that people seem to love, although I'm doing a much better job of saying no to these)
    • Fridays = Video! This is when I get into the home studio and create all of my video content.
I hope this helps! Definitely sit down and decide what you want, break it down, and then identify the ONE thing that can push your biz forward. Literally just ask "Okay, what is the ONE THING I can work on TODAY to get me closer to what I want to accomplish?" I kept finding the above five things rotated as my one thing, so now I use the week to structure my focus as such.
