Your copy should be highly focused, benefit-rich and as compendious as possible in presenting your offers to the visitors. List key benefits of the products and service. Make it clear what benefits visitors can get from the offers. All the elements in your review site should work towards the goal of achieving high conversion rate! The more you digress, the worst your conversion will be. Write your sale copy and read it over again, delete anything distracts your visitors and not in coherency with the main target!
7. Reviews, Visitor Comments or Testimonials!
Add visitor reviews, comments or testimonials if possible. Generally a visitor will need suggestions from people who are currently using or recently used the products or service. Enable your visitors to leave comments is an advantage of review sites. If your use review sites and landing pages. I recommend you to use WordPress to build review site. It is the easiest way to build review sites.
8. Trust Factors
Do not make your review site look like thrown together within 10 minutes. If you were potential buyer, would you trust a site designed poorly? Get a neat, professional-looking landing page! And another thing, it would be better you add "terms of use" and "privacy policy" to your site and make them visible to your visitors. And This really helps!
Put a summary or conclusion at the end of the landing page! I see a lot of review sites which give review of dozens of products(excluding some special niches). Maybe they just want to make visitors confused. Visitors come to your site to get purchase suggestions. So you need to come up with your conclusion which one they should purchase! Or they will keep on search for a complete solution on other affiliate landing pages and you will lose the money!
And Put A Clear Call-To-Action At The End Of The Conclusion!
10. Readability
Readability of your pages has great effects on your conversion rate. To optimize a landing page, the points below are important aspects which we should really attach importance to.
a. Headline.
It should be your slogan that delivers info of key benefits. H1 or H2 should be great and visible. Headline is 50% of a sales copy. Make it attractive and concise!
b. Black text on white background is most preferable.
Don't try to be smart and make white text on black background or something not smooth to eyes. That is not easy to read.
c. Column width in paragraphs.
A preferable column width should be between 15-20 words or 600-800 pixels. Don't make a paragraph spread out the whole window or you may want to make the readers dizzy!
d. Font size in paragraphs.
Font sizes of 10-12 are recommended. I see a lot of landing pages with text of bold and large font sizes and in dozens of colors on the whole page! I am curious what they do really stress. You stress everything, then nothing is stressed!
11. Let Your Conversion Rate Tells
But nothing is applicable everywhere. Abovementioned points are just personal opinions. Don't form an opinion and think "This must be right"! You need to test all elements on your landing page to get a higher conversion rate. Test and Test!
