Hello fellow members!

I am planning to create an online marketing related course on Udemy and so need some advice pertaining to Udemy. All your suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks

Not sure of your background with Udemy but if it was me, I would first start with the free course on Udemy that shows you how to create your Udemy course. Here's the link:
    https://www.udemy.com/official-udemy-instructor-course/

Udemy's commission is really high. 50% and above. I suggest yescourse.com instead of udemy.

Doesn't matter what platform you use, know that you will need to build traffic, create a sales page and it will need to convert. Have you properly researched your topic and know there is demand?

Do you have an idea how you will differentiate your course versus others in the same space?

Have you planned your sales funnel - how you will target traffic, how you will create a sales funnel and how you will convert them to buy your course?

So many people run off and create products (including Udemy courses) without factoring this in - so what you have in the end is a nice course, but nobody buys.

      Jeff - good advice

I learned this the hard way. I created a course and thought that organic traffic from the site would just show up. Unfortunately it doesn't always work that way.

You will have to promote your courses the same way that you would promote any other information product.

This Udemy has some real excellent Courses. I have been checking out Banfield's FB Marketing and really quality stuff.
