Do you have, or can you learn/develop, a marketable skill? It may be that starting off as "service-provider" would enable you to start earning something, and get together the little bit of money you'd need to do anything different?

It is possible to start with absolutely no money at all, but it's not easy. I set up my whole business for about $60 and could have done it for a little bit less (if I'd known how, at the time!), but it's difficult to start with absolutely nothing at all. Free hosting is ok (as long as you don't make the mistake of using Blogger or wordpress.com), but you still need a domain-name, really, and for a lot of things you need an autresponder subscription, too (free autoresponders are generally a nightmare and a disaster).

Can you use PayPal? Do you have a bank account? Do you have some way of being able to be paid/receive money?

I'd add that before you get into doing the online bit, ask....Why? Do the online bit to free you and to free your audience.

Blogging and social are free - if you go with blogspot - and of course, you can build lists for free through MailChimp as you work your way up to a set number of subscribers.

Get your motivator down pat though because if you want to be free more than you fear doing uncomfortable things you'll rock out this online business thing.

From my perspective, one of the first things you might do is focus less on SEO and backlinks.
That is exactly what I did 7 years ago and cost me a couple of years in wasted time.

Not saying SEO is necessarily bad, but looking back on it I think it was something that definitely was NOT a necessity, whatsoever

There's plenty of ways to make money so that you can invest it down the road.

No need to invest money, if you can do work by yourself. If you know how to do SEO. Make back linking, article submission, social media sites, blog commenting, RSS, bookmarking & some others works is enough. Why will you invest money? try yourself. You will be able to reach your destination.

You may be able to sell services on Fiverr or something but in order to build a long term business you'll probably need at least $50-$100 to get started & use towards a website & autoresponder. These are the foundations for making sales & after that you just need to make sure you have a great niche, products and add content as much as possible. Making money online is not a get rich quick kind of thing and it may take 4-5 months before you even start getting a steady stream of traffic to it but the key is to never give up, add & update your content to perfection & be sure to share everything with all the social networks

Try to outsource online (on the other country) not in your own. Look for seo experts in USA, or article writer in Canada, investing money is not that hard. Just find a trustworthy and reliable person to work with you.
