Congrats JVZoo on $100 Million Mark

JVZoo was started by some top notch Warriors and the service just hit the $100 million mark for what has been paid out to clients.

$100,243,522.81 to be exact.

There has been a lot of continual innovation with the service, which in my view has helped make them a leader. Anyone who follows "brands" knows it is really hard to start a new service in any field and compete against established players, which makes what JVZoo has accomplished even more remarkable.

I thought Frank Kern said he made over $50 Million with JV Zoo.

So half of that has to be his own figures !!

What does the amount of Facebook likes have anything to do with a company's revenue numbers?

Sounds like you have it all figured out. Must be a scam if they don't get 1 Facebook like for every dollar.

Comparison of Jvzoo against a company established in 1998 perhaps isn't logical.

Well then according to your 'logic', JVzoo should reach $2 billion in 2024 to be comparable with CB. It's the same 13 years as it took to CB to reach this milestone.

That's not my logic, though something for you to consider based upon your comparison in your initial post which stated that JvZoo has some catching up to do...

First, JVZoo is basically a SaaS and can't be compared to Clickbank. Clickbank resells the products listed in their marketplace where JVZoo (at the most basic level) provides automation for sellers in order to deliver their digital products and don't provide any merchant services themselves PayPal handles that.

The fact they paid out over $100 million up to this point to vendors and their affiliates is quite an accomplishment considering these guys started from zero and hustled their ass off to get people using their platform.

They took feedback from product creators and implemented what they wanted in a selling platform. It keeps getting better with the addition of new features. Plus, it's easy to use even for non-techies. You can literally be up and selling within 15 minutes with ZERO upfront cost.

Years ago this wasn't even possible and now while other platforms are at a stand still and are dinosaurs, JVZoo is constantly evolving into an even better platform.

You figure on an Internet marketing forum where the title under the main discussion area reads "Where the Warriors talk about making money on the Internet." and JVZoo allows ANYONE to make money it's pretty ironic and sad that there are some people hating on them.

Maybe with a change in attitude, some of that $100 million could be in your pocket right now by leveraging what JVZoo has to offer.

But bitching, complaining, and diminishing other people's accomplishments is much easier than product creation, affiliate marketing, and getting some skin in the game.

The big Clickbank crackdown was in spring of 2011. JVzoo launched in fall of 2011.

The atmosphere around here at that time was that JVzoo was a viable alternative platform for what Clickbank was no longer accepting due to quality control measures. Call it total nonsense all you want, but those are the facts.

Well then I guess it comes down to your belief of whether or not it was all one big coincidence or if JVzoo was launched to fill a specific need.

In any event, without the Clickbank crackdown there is no opening for JVzoo to enter. Everything was all about Clickbank prior to that.

If you would have been paying attention at all during that time you would know WarriorPlus was the only game in town and making big money in the WSO space

JVZoo was developed to directly compete with WarriorPlus by giving vendors another instant affiliate platform in this space to choose from with different features when launching WSO's.

In addition to that, JVZoo buttons could be posted anywhere whereas WarriorPlus buttons where limited to just the forum so it expanded the ability of sellers here on the forum to launch on self-hosted pages.

That's why JVZoo still has a link to all the WSO's launched on their platform.

JVZoo was never designed to compete with Clickbank because they never did what Clickbank does and that is issue and process payments in-house.

JVZoo is only an automation platform for sellers. The payment processing is done by PayPal.

Shady Clickbank sellers moved to ClickSure where they still reside because many of them can't sell through PayPal for one reason or another:

"ClickSure.com has been in beta development since July 2011, and recently processed more than $1.5 Million in sales for its private "Beta Sellers". With all that testing behind them, they are now opening the doors to a selected number of Vendors which will, over the next few months allow them grow and improve the platform’s features. Affiliates are now able to open an account and start promoting the first few products that are already in their Marketplace.

The ClickSure Platform is backed by one of the largest processors in Europe with tons of experience in processing high risk products. This means you can be assured outstanding stability.

Payments are made weekly via wire with a two week hold, very similar to ClickBank."

And where do you think $100 million in processed sales came from? That wasn't siphoned away from Warrior+ WSO's. This forum isn't big enough for that.

So who was processing those non-WSO info products before JVzoo? Clickbank, obviously.

I'm not going to repeat my entire post because you obviously don't understand why JVZoo could never be an alternative to Clickbank.

ClickSure got the "scammy" Clickbank sellers not JVZoo like you want to believe. If you read my post on the very bottom ClickSure even makes a comparison to Clickbank.

You act like the shady Clickbank sellers moved their products to JVZoo and that never happened. Those sellers need to have their own high-risk processing in order to keep up with refunds and the other stuff associated with running those types of offers and PayPal would never put up with those products, the sellers knew it.

JVZoo didn't make $100 million overnight...

There were a TON of people on here at the time doing BIG launches in the WSO section using W+ as that was pretty much the only game in town in terms of instant pay affiliate platforms.

People were having 6-figure WSO launches so yes, the forum was big enough for that in order for JVZoo to get some initial traction.

JVZoo got started and took a little business away from W+ here on the forum in the WSO section. The market was big here...

            Here's a post from September 2011 (source):

Originally Posted by RootShell-vb View Post

When sellers moved off the forum because the forum was crashing constantly so couldn't be relied on during launches and due to trolling on many threads, sellers moved to self-hosted sales pages/launches where they could have more control.

W+ buttons couldn't be placed anywhere outside the forum, but JVZoo's buttons could and JVZoo was similar to W+. Affiliates were accustomed to being paid instantly through PayPal so JVZoo was the natural fit for both the sellers and affiliates.

So they took all those sellers that were originally selling on the forum but now wanted to do self-hosted launches along with all the affiliates that were promoting WSO's.

JVZoo got started because of WSO sellers and not Clickbank "refugees".

From there, JVZoo kept adding features to their platform, hustled, and networked to bring in even more sellers, they scaled the business.

Originally Posted by DubDubDubDot View Post

Its evolved a lot. There are a great many functions and it is much easier to use now. I like it. I can read the reports, find what I want and get done what I need to do without spending a lot of time trying to figure out what I am doing before I can do it.

I've used a bunch of the affiliate selling platforms, and JVZoo is simpler, without sacrificing mission. That really appeals to me.

congrats to jvzoo. cool product developed and constantly upgrading...something you dont see enough of.

Mark, i totally agree with you that jvzoo was developed as a warrior+ alternative. That being said, i do think jvzoo benefited from the changes being made at clickbank around the same time as jvzoo was launching.

I fully realize they are 2 very different systems, but it is not exactly fair to say that jvzoo didnt almost certainly get some business they wouldnt have gotten had clickbank not been going through their changes at the time.

but again, jvzoo isnt a clickbank alternative per se, it just so happened they launched at a good time to take advantage of another businesses difficulties.

The big key thing is the difference in clickbank offering "pass through paypal account" vs jvzoo needing your own paypal account. Thats the biggest reason the majority of the nonsense stuff clickbank cleaned up didn't even consider jvzoo as a viable alternative.
