Ideas To Further Monetize Blog.

Hey Guys,

So my site has been up for a good month now (first time i have ever done something like this, as i read all the time, it's about making the first step). I feel my content is good, my layout is decent and my following is slowly growing. Traffic is pretty crap, but my social media numbers are rising which will continue to help boost traffic.

My question now is, how can I start making a bit of bank with what I've got going. I have a few ideas floating in my head, but I'm looking for other ideas just to maybe enhance or give me a new perspective.

Also any layout changes or constructive criticism is welcome. Off topic a little, but what traffic numbers per day are considered healthy.

Thanks for your help,

Jack

Hi, yes i am, have 70 odd subscribers so far. I'm currently teamed up with sportsbet and a cricket company called weapon cricket. But I feel affiliate only produces a nice return when traffic and overall numbers are huge.

Having your own website set up and running is the first step ( as you said ) but in fact it`s the simplest one. You have two choices in order to monetize your blog and make it as a turnkey website that can bring you a steady stream of income.
1- Creating your own product(S) and sell it trough your blog
2- Involving in affiliate marketing and promote other people`s products

Honestly the two choices require a good amount of research and study before deciding which one will be suitable to you.

    To your success.

It is great to hear that you are already building a list (most people start this way to late.) An easy way is to start with affiliate products. Also don't forget you can promote affiliate products directly to your list. This way you can utilize your list and your website. One of the best ways to truly monetize a site is with product creation. And not just one product but multiple products that you eventually evolve into a funnel. Then you can combine that with affiliate offers to really maximize things. This can be one of the greatest ways to get the most bang for your buck out of your traffic.

I'm thinking about making some very cheap Cricket merchandise. Eg singlets, tshirts, drink holders, etc.

It's so hard to find somewhere that will do it cheap enough, so i can still sell them for a reasonable price and make a profit.

As you are working on your site and product creation, research the products in the area you would like to create, and or sale. Do some product reviews on you-tube and research you-tube and other traffic outlets... track everything. Build the list, build the site, learn email marketing.
