I do have expertise, but I don't work for free, I'm afraid. If you own the domain already, which you do, just post it up, either here or on DNForum or NamePros. You'll soon find what it's worth. If it's halfway decent, I might even buy it.

      John,

You domain is worth this: exactly what you can get for it.

It really doesn't matter what it appraises for, what you think it's worth, or what someone on a public forum guesses it may be worth.

What this means is that you will get more for it, typically, if you go out and work to find people that would naturally want your domain.

One way to do that is to identify the top keyword phrases that your domain fits and then do a Google search for that phrase. The owners of those top sites that come back in the search results are prime candidates for your domain. Find people that are already successful monetizing your best keyword phrase and you will find candidates to buy your domain.

      Good luck,

      Steve

Using only the information you have made available.... if it's something like UsedCars.com then you are getting too little. If it's TurtleStampede.com then you should take the money and run.

Turtlestampede.org is still available, but .com is owned by a domain squatter - wildwestdomians.com.

As everyone else has said, this is far from enough information to even give a ballpark opinion.

Domain names aren't priced according to how many characters are in it. That can be one of the many deciding factors, but not something that determines price. Lots of domains containing 20+ characters sell for lots of money. Many with only 3 or 4 characters never sell.
