Sharing links on Facebook

Hi,

I would like to know how I get rid of this line: when posting links on a Facebook page

I saw many pages posting links to their websites and they don't have that ... "shared a link" line

Here's an example of two pages:
one has a "shared a link" and the other page doesn't i've seen a few pages without it and i want to know how they post links without this being visible (like the i ******* love science page),

if you know how it would be highly appreciated if you could let me know thanks!

I don't think you can actually get rid of that... I sure it's part of Facebook's platform and how it operates

Multiple pages have got rid of it though such as
      https://www.facebook.com/IFeakingLoveScience
      https://www.facebook.com/omgfactsonline
and a bunch more & they seem to have better post reach by doing so, it may be a new "trick" i don't know but it is possible, look at those pages link posts there is no "shared a link" beside them.

I've talked to a few page owners and they have noticed as well but don't know how it is done they still have the same "shared a link" message..

I know, i don't know if it's a "method / trick" or if it's an update that has not rolled out to everyone yet, it's strange pages without it do seem to be having more engagement per post though..

What is the problem you are trying to solve by getting rid of that. If you shared a link, why not give the originator credit for posting it, and you credit by sharing something awesome with your followers.

A totally agree with your perception. I also believe that as long as the links are allowed by FB, there is no trouble on sharing them as well. Thanks

getting rid of the "shared a link" would obviously result in more clicks and thus more revnue thats the achievement , it also looks cleaner to the eye & less like spam in my opinion.

Could it be that the ones that don't have that there are advertisers? Don't know myself reason I suggested this.

Probably not, those are usually labelled "Sponsored"

One subtle way to get around this:
Post an Image and specify URL of the link in the caption.
