Recommendations for theme system

Hi Guys!

I'm not a novice anymore, and gone are the days when I need a gui in my wordpress dashboard for customizing themes.

I just go a bunch of development jobs, and I need a theme framework (paid) that I can easily customize the CSS for for any layout I could possibly need.

I keep getting recommendations for X THEME by a respected colleague, and I tried DIVI a while back because I had a subscription to elegant themes.

I will buy the theme. Just not sure what folks recommend. I want to be able to make simple and complex layouts. But not have the encumbrance of any dashboard theme gui that is a pain to work with.

Anybody please chime in.

Mark

What are you trying to copy exactly? Show me & I'll try advise a theme.

Modifying css sounds like a nightmare, get a decent wordpress theme for free where you can do it from the gui. Something that lets you select colours there & has a custom css part.

Modifying the raw css is a bad idea for a few reasons.
