Can I create a funnel using other peoples products?

I want to set up a sales funnel with the ultimate goal being a seed launch. That way I can create my own product and sell it. I want to do this asap.

I created a freebie and squeeze page and I plan to drive traffic to the squeeze page with solo ads. I would like to recoup some of the money spent on the solo ads so will create a sales funnel.

I want to use existing OTO's and products for upsells/downsells in the funnel. I don't want to create them because I want to get this going immediately.

I'm having trouble understanding how to set this up though.

I'm new to this so I ASSUME that when someone purchases the OTO they'll end up in the OTO creator's funnel. Thus, my funnel ends at the OTO.

How do I add upsells/downsells in my funnel after the OTO?

    You should look for reoccurring commissions if you are planning on doing all that work. OTO's are not as financially fulfilling as reoccurring commissions.

    I market other people's high quality products by utilizing a very 'highly' converting system that provides 'targeted' traffic (paid Media Buys) & has the option of adding 'upsells' into your own customized version of the system.

    You don't want all of your efforts to leave your 'own' sales funnel & end up in someone else's.

    You can set them up a couple of ways, if you use jvzoo they have some educational videos that walks you through setting up funnels. Or when they pay for the product in paypal and jvzoo, and you could line up OTO and bonus on the thank you page might be a consideration. Good question.

      Thanks Rory. I agree. The sales funnel I'm talking about is only temporary. Creating my own products and keeping everything in my funnel is the end goal.

        Trying to understand exactly what you are asking or inferring.

        Just because someone buys an OTO from the Product Creator ( and btw that would nullify it being a OTO for you since you cannot set the price, only the Creator) does not mean your Funnel is over.

        You can then have a series of Follow ups that give him helpful content and you can add some P.S. links with Affiliate products that he can purchase in those Follow Ups , i.e sales funnel.

          In your funnel you certainly can put other peoples' squeeze page if you are into clickbanking and ad swapping with partners. This exchange of traffic results in not just adding subscribers to your list but you make affiliate commissions too since you can also include affiliate product links in your thank you page or download page.

    Exactly! Just make sure you speak to them first... I can just imagine someone "selling" someone elses product without even asking them

    Can't you email your list other offers pertaining to your original (free) offer, but as an affiliate? So the first email of the funnel is to Affiliate Offer A (and any upsells/downsells) they have, a different offer can be Affiliate Offer B, etc.

    Are you looking for a funnel that starts immediately upon opt-in?

      Riki, yes I that's exactly what I was looking for; a funnel that starts upon optin.

      But I've decided to go with a freebie only. That way I can test my offer immediately, build a relationship, do seed launch, then create my own product. Seems the fastest way to get going and test my theories at the same time.

      I wont recoup solo ad cost as quickly but I'm ok with that.

    Sorry but I have no idea what some people here are on, but there's no way you can ever create a funnel using other peoples products. It simply can not work. Not on JVZoo or anywhere. A JVZoo funnel needs to be your own products, and nobody will ever give you access to their products and sales pages because you have to put your own buy buttons and "No Thanks" links on the sales pages for the funnel to work. Same in Warrior Plus and everywhere.
    Sorry, but you really need to ignore all the people above who say you can do it. You can't.

    No product creator will ever give you their products to sell as you like. And to think they will is pure madness.

    Follow what Riki said and build your list and then email them offers in your follow-up sequence and broadcast messages, and write product reviews on your blog and drive subscribers to it.
