Good Expired Domain PBN - How much are you willing to pay?

Hi all,

I have a list of expired domains by self-sourcing, which have
  • PA>30, DA>20, TF & CF>15
  • Pagerank = 0 though, as PR has becomes much less important today
  • Non-spam backlink profile, no Chinese or Japanese backlinks

However, I do not know how much I should charge for. I searched around for existing service, and came across domainjawa.com & domainhaul.com - but I think their price is simply too expensive (80$ - 100$+ per domain).

Thus, I want to gather your opinions on the following:

1) How much are you willing to pay for the domain with metrics mentioned above? (Only domain - No hosting will be involved)

All help are greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,

Tuan

Those metrics mean absolutely nothing to me.

If you would list the amount and PR of the backlinks as well as whether they are live and dofollow, and also the OBL on the backlink pages I can give you a much better indication of what they are worth.

Without that they are worth not more then $10/piece as I can easily pick up 100's if not 1000's of domains with such metrics. Ok maybe add $5/domain for your time to filter out the Chinese/Japanese anchors and other spam.

      Thanks Niko,

No of Backlink varies, around 50+
      OBL varies, usually 10 - 20

  • What did you pay for them? That's a factor I think whatever you paid the buyer could get at that or similar price right?

      Hi there,

Yeah. But if you source for an expired domain yourself, there is time and effort going in to check the site metrics, check the backlink and everything. It is a great amount of tasks.

That's why I wanna ask how much you are willing to pay to have the domain delievered to you, guaranteed it to be spam-free and with great DA, PA, TF, CF ...

The potential buyer is still going to have to check the backlinks of your domains themselves. Your idea of a quality domain might not match theirs.

Looking at those metrics I would say $10 - $15 max.

Obviously people are willing to pay $80-100 for a vetted aged domain because you found two companies successful at that price point.

So look at your business and ask:

How can I add value over those services?
At what price point can I make the return I want while still being competitive or cheaper?

You have already researched the market and found the price point the market is willing to pay.

Simply offering the domains with a $50 premium would put you at the low end.

Make your premium $30 and you have undercut the other guys by 40% or more.

If you ask WF members what they will pay (and I have seen many threads) the answer is usually $10.

Can you back this up with any reliable sources? This goes against everything I think I know about Google.

Did you know this about Google? You can use it as a "search engine" and find answers to almost any question.

Google Will (Probably) Not Be Updating Toolbar PageRank Again

Google Toolbar PageRank Finally & Officially Dead?

If I would have used Google I'd have searched for the right thing at least.

PR and Toolbar PR are two VERY different things.

If you Googled that, you would find that they aren't for SEO purposes because when we (marketers/SEO) say "PR", we mean "Toolbar PR".

Obviously there is a "real" or Internal PR for each page that Google calculates regularly to determine the SERPs rankings. It is not public.

But "Toolbar PR" is the PR that is displayed, updated intermittently (or now not at all) and what we mean when we say "this is a PR3 page".

But I'm just respouting what I'm finding in Google right now... so I'll stop hijacking the thread

            I can end this....

            You're RIGHT - I'm WRONG (and don't really care).

            You win.

He is actually right, Ron. Sometimes people are just trying to help/inform their fellow-members, you know, even if you find their posts frustrating, or whatever?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but perspectives vary, and to me, the sentence from the OP's statements that you challenged was the one thing he had said that actually made any sense at all. The thread's essentially daft: we're discussing the value of something that really has no value worthy of discussion, here.

              .

My winks were meant to be friendly not antagonizing. I apologize if they were.

This is not stuff I knew, it was stuff I Googled from your reply.

I learned this wrinkle on PR because you raised the learning point. That is a good thing, not a "win" because I happened to be right in my initial assumption (which it was).

If I was wrong I just as readily would have posted the evidence and thanked you for the education.

I still thank you for the education because I did learn some worthwhile info from this discussion.

              cheers

    Sorry guys and gals.

I've just been really frustrated the last few days.

I'm falling into the trap of "inaction" and I need to snap out of it.

Didn't mean to take it out on anyone here.

    Bleh.....
