Normal vs. guru video
In doing a video for people that aren't yet on your list, what do you all think is the best approach? Has anyone tested any of the following stuff?
- A StomperNet style launch: entirely scripted, well produced slideshow with music + graphics on a slideshow.
- The normal unscripted or semi-scripted talking along side a slideshow?
- Entirely scripted talking to a camera.
- Unscripted talking to a camera.
The "guru" style seems to be higher professionalism to get you onto the list, then once you're there, semi-scripted to build trust? (Except StomperNet).
What do you think works better? I am sure a lot on this forum would like this particular advice.
P.S: While I am at it, if you're doing a slideshow do you include the little video of you talking through it? I'm tempted to fade it out whenever it obscures the slide, keep it in the rest?
