These area ALL posts I've seen in the Warrior Forum just this past WEEK.

Every single day, Newbies flood the warrior forum, completely disregard the SEARCH FEATURE and make posts like this.

Yes, we get it - you've been lied to and have been told you can click your mouse button 3 times and earn $14,534.35 over night

I have some news for you

THAT'S NOT TRUE.

Even the guy asking about making $1k per day FAST ($365k per year) doesn't seem to want to accept the truth, and just keeps asking for things that can be scaled.

Here's the truth newbies.

Internet Marketing is REAL, it's a GREAT way to make a living online, BUT it's not as simple as choosing a "method" and scaling it.

Hard Work is Involved.

Want something SIMPLE you can do that works?

Warning: Work Required
  1. Pick a Niche you're familiar with, or better yet passionate about
  2. Search the Clickbank and JVZoo Marketplaces and find 3-4 GOOD SELLING products in that niche. Watch their sales videos (or read their sales letters) and ask yourself "Would I Buy This?"
  3. Use Google, and find yourself a COMMON problem in this niche that people are searching for a solution for.
  4. Use iWriter or Odesk and have a UNIQUE 2,000 word article written answering that problem.
    1. For Example: How to lose 7 Lbs in 7 Days Without Working Out
    2. Another Example: Why the Law of Attraction Isn't Working For You
    3. (Obviously, it depends on the niche you're in)
  5. Next up, buy a DOMAIN NAME. It should be something short and catchy and not keyword stuffed.
    1. Bad example: www.Why-The-Law-Of-Attraction-Doesnt-Work.com
    2. Good Example: www.LOALoving.com
    3. You get the Idea
  6. Next up: Get yourself an auto responder account. Both Aweber & Get Response offer 30 day trials for free, or just $1.00.
  7. Set up your auto responder (they'll have 'how to videos' in the members area) to SINGLE OPT IN, and create an opt-in form.
  8. Next up, go to fiverr.com, and pay somebody $5.00 to design a high converting squeeze page (opt-in page) for you to be used to give away your free report (yes, you're going to give it away for free in exchange for people giving you their email address). You'll need to send them the HTML from the opt-in form you just created in your auto responder.
    1. Make sure your opt-in page copy focuses on the BENEFITS, not just the result.
    2. Good Example: Free Report Reveals: How to Lose 7 lbs in 7 days without dieting
    3. Bad Example: The Secrets to Losing Weight (Offers no benefit, doesn't make anybody drool over what you're giving away)
    4. If you don't know how to write copy for your Opt in Page yourself, there are also people on Fiverr that can do that for you.
  9. Optional but Recommended: use fiverr to have a 'download page' designed for your free report. Include a banner for a product you want to promote UNDER the download link. Here's an example of one of mine you can view for reference: Thank You
Here's how you want to set things up:
  1. People opt-in to your squeeze page
  2. Upon opting-in, RE-DIRECT them to an affiliate offer (via your aff link) that's RELATED to the free offer you're giving away. This will usually result in you making a few sales right away, and hopefully earning back 25-50% of what you spent on the traffic.
  3. The first EMAIL they're sent upon opting in should send them to your Thank you/Download Page (example above) which again gives them their free report, and shows them a banner for the product you're promoting.
Next, you want to set up your auto responder emails.

I suggest starting with 7 emails, 1 per day
  1. The First Email will be a link to their free download
  2. The Second Email should be a 'hi, how's it going" type email, reminding them to download their free report, and offering help if they need it
  3. The THIRD email can be your first promotion, send an email promoting the product you re-directed them to when they first opted in. You should be able to find swipe copy (pre-written email) in the JV/Affiliate portion of the products website you're promoting
  4. The Fourth Email - I like to send a motivational video from youtube, something inspiring that everybody can relate to
  5. The Fifth Email I'll do a follow up promoting the same product again
  6. The Sixth Email, I like to scour the internet for some useful information they might be able to use. I'll either send them a link to the article I found, or write my own version of it and include that as the content of the email
  7. The Seventh Email: Promote your product one last time, using another swipe file from the JV/Affiliate Page
  8. Rinse and Repeat with 7 More Emails and another product, if you so wish.
Congrats, you've now got a fully functional email funnel set up in your niche.


Next up, you need to get people to your page.


NOW - here's the part that's going to scare many people away.

Screw free traffic, don't waste your time - invest in PAID traffic and re-invest your profits.

I HIGHLY recommend Solo Ads. They're easy to find for the IM niche on the Warrior Forum, and many other popular niches can be found on www.clickonomy.com. It's a safe site, and I use it myself for many non IM Solo Ads with great results.

Spend $100 on Traffic, or about 100-125 clicks and see how many opt-ins you get. If your opt in rate is above 50% - then you're doing things right, if it's NOT - you may want to have another designer give a shot at creating a squeeze page for you - OR update your copy as it might be too plain.

Anyways, I put ALOT more time into this than I planned on doing.

    There always will be people looking for the push button solution and that's why this is one of the hottest topics in here.

    A long valuable post for everyone who thinks that IM is a "3 hours/week work". It's not.

    It can be a really simple strategy, but it takes time and effort.

    Great direction for starters Jeff, and regarding the paid traffic part, I have discovered that the hard way. But better later than never.

    many people understand the internet marketing concept wrong. They think that only sitting in front of computer can makes them thousands of dollars.
    internet marketing is just like opening a store in your city, i mean when someone wants to start a offline business, For Example opening a store Nobody can open a store and gets all the products that he will sells to people for free! Person should invest money and effort to open a store. and even if person have money to invest but also experience is very important, You can't open a computers store to sells computers for people and you have ZERO experience on computers even you invest a lot of money on this store, Same thing with online marketing

      The above process I outlined is something that can be done in 1-2 HOURS - or quicker if you're familiar with the process.

      Perhaps since you feel that's too much work, you'd care to share what you recommend instead?

      Hey Zeus,

      This strategy is related to newbies, who are completely SCARED of creating their own products, so affiliate marketing is the easiest way for them and the goal here is to make the first sale, or first 10 sales so people can realize that IM is a business, it's working, but it takes time and effort.

      Yeah, of course it is always better to sell your own products, but the system he has described is not hard to be implemented and it is in my opinion the right way for a beginner to start.

      Here's a few tips: when promoting your free report about X to get an email signup, don't:

      1. Immediately put a scammy looking OTO in someone's face instead of the report they wanted.

      2. Offer a report about Y instead of X.

      3. Put the report in a .rar format and tell subscribers they need to get additional software to view it.

      Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

      In about 30 seconds you can wreck you hard work and credibility, and end up with unsubscribes in your AWeber account you have to pay for.

      If you used paid traffic it's a quick way to lose money.

      Yes IM is a REAL Biz but newbies will get overwhelmed with all that stuff. They don't even know what AD Copy or probably most of that list.

      [I get overwhelmed by all that stuff], shh, don't tell anyone.

      That list by OP is great but is it really duplicable for the 'Average' NEWB?

      There has got to be an 'easier' way to get started for the average newbie. Isn't there?

        I made it rather lengthy in hopes of explaining things in details.

        I could sum it up like this, it it helps:

        1. Write a Free Report Answering a Common Problem
        2. Give away the Free Report on a Squeeze Page designed to capture your leads email address, in exchange for the free download
        3. Email them the free report using your auto responder once they opt in
        When it comes down to it, list building is KING (in my opinion) and I make a HUGE portion of my online income due to having multiple lists in multiple niches.


        I also coach this same stuff for many high end webinars, so usually i'm saying this stuff outloud and showing how it's done. This is the first time I put it into writing, so forgive me if it DOES seem complex.

          I still agree with Zeus!

          All I said was your list (which was a very detailed list & one that is value based) is not duplicable for the 'average' Newbie'.

          Someone above said 90% of Warriors would give up trying to do that.

          I say that 98% won't stay in the game long enough and that (your list) would even overwhelm me and I am not new.

          Now we don't all have to agree with you do we?

            Anybody can put forward a hypothesis. Unless you have (or immediately intend to) put in leg work to back up your claim with verifiable evidence why are you (or anyone else really) putting out the claim?         Maybe this is where people get it wrong?

        Instead of looking for an easier way, how about focus on learning and building?

        Yes, what the OP lists is duplicable by newbs if they are prepared to put in the effort.

        If not, then sorry, but they are not serious about this business.

        Let's cut the BS here... the only difference between an offline biz and online biz is the start up costs.

        The requirements are basically the same.

        Find a market
        Find out what they want - the more the better
        Sell the, what they want, not what you think they want
        Over deliver on value
        Extend the lifetime value of your best customers.

        Always has been... always will be.

        People gotta stop looking at iNet as some magical Wonderland, different to the rest of the world.

        It isn't.

        Temper their expectations of results... Understand that it all starts with your first $1 sale.


        You either learn and understand how to do it... or you don't... simple.

        I will also add that every one has different skills. So what works for one, won't always work for the other.

        That's why we have diversity.

          No I didn't get it wrong. There are easier ways to become successful online than OP's list. That's what I said and that's how I do things.

          I don't do that stuff (OP's List) it just 'overwhelms' me.

          Simple and easy works better for me. It may not work for you but it works for me. You also said that everyone is 'diverse'. So what works for OP will not work for all.

        In all due respect, I think this is a very SIMPLE blueprint for anyone to follow.

        Notice how I said SIMPLE. Not EASY but SIMPLE. Big difference

        I guess most people have a real hard time as they want everything to be EASY.

      It's a method I use for years,and makes me thousands a month..
      Heck..my students as well make money from it!
      My advice to you..put it into action..start getting profits..
      And scale it up..
      The bigger your list +The better your relationship with your list,the further you'll go and the more you'll earn..
      You may have other ways to earn online,but it's a basic one and works for tens of years for almost every successful marketer ..so no reason to ignore it

    The principle of blood, sweat and tears is what most newbie IMers are missing - well, that and the search function of this forum as OP put it. Haha

    I think most of us have fallen prey, at one time or the other, to this outer-worldly notion that it could all be as simple as a few clicks and boom! Six figures per month online.

    Possible, but rarely so for the beginner; you've got to be diligent first, then it gets easier as you go along.

    Diligence = Purpose. Dream. Vision. Goal. Plan. + X

    The Big Three, X = Consistency, Persistence & Relentlessness

    Finally, you obviously want to use what feedback you get and you don't get that if you don't track, test and optimize. It also helps to network with guys smarter than you and also keep learning so that these smarter, guru types want to always have you close as a useful contributor to their mastermind.

    C'est tout! This has been my little non-technical addition to Jeff's sweet, sweet post! I know it sounds very personal-development-ish, but still, I think it's a useful framework for clearly showing what's required for success in IM - beyond the technical things.

      Good answer most people come the internet looking to make big money without doing the work. I don't know who put that out there but it is what it is. When you tell them work needs to be done to make money then they leave and go to the next program. I know you can make money on the internet but the people who make the income have done the work and that's it.

    All in all this is a fantastic post, and a great way for anyone who's just getting started to . . . well . . . get started!

    This is the very same strategy that my mentor taught me who is killing it in his business.

    The thing is - even though he's killing it, he's still following the exact same strategies you've just laid out here!

    It's true - internet marketing is not rocket science, however it's something that you have got to invest time energy effort and money into.

    I have a very good feeling that 95% of the people who read this phenomenal post will take absolutely 0% action.

    Heck I'd be surprised if someone read this and started to THINK . . .

    But then again, I don't see many people reading what you just gave away and THINKING about it, then taking action . . .

    NOW - here's the part that's going to scare many people away.

    Screw free traffic, don't waste your time - invest in PAID traffic and re-invest your profits.

    I HIGHLY recommend Solo Ads. They're easy to find for the IM niche on the Warrior Forum, and many other popular niches can be found on www.clickonomy.com. It's a safe site, and I use it myself for many non IM Solo Ads with great results.

    Spend $100 on Traffic, or about 100-125 clicks and see how many opt-ins you get. If your opt in rate is above 50% - then you're doing things right, if it's NOT - you may want to have another designer give a shot at creating a squeeze page for you - OR update your copy as it might be too plain.

    Anyways, I put ALOT more time into this than I planned on doing.

    Hi,

    This is something that can be done in the real world.

    People start off by wanting to make $10,000 per month right off the bat.

    This is purely unrealistic to say the least.

    Start with a GOAL like:

    1. I want to make my sale by the end of this ______.

    2. Now I've made my first sale I want to make $10 per day by ______.

    3. Now my target is $30 per day by ______.

    4. Then $50.

    5. Then my first $100+ day by _____.

    Much more realistic.

    And far more EASY to accomplish by starting with that 1st sale and working
    your way up.

    LOOK......Some people may get lucky and see those bigger pay days a lot
    sooner.

    But then when things take a turn for the worse they won't know why and how to
    rectify it because they took a chance and got a bit of luck along the way.

    But making a few mistakes and learning from them allows you to gain REAL LIFE
    experience.

    Which MONEY simply cannot buy.

    THAT'S NOT TRUE.

    Even the guy asking about making $1k per day FAST ($365k per year) doesn't seem to want to accept the truth, and just keeps asking for things that can be scaled.

    Here's the truth newbies.

    Internet Marketing is REAL, it's a GREAT way to make a living online, BUT it's not as simple as choosing a "method" and scaling it.

    Hard Work is Involved.

    Want something SIMPLE you can do that works?

    Warning: Work Required
    1. Pick a Niche you're familiar with, or better yet passionate about
    2. Search the Clickbank and JVZoo Marketplaces and find 3-4 GOOD SELLING products in that niche. Watch their sales videos (or read their sales letters) and ask yourself "Would I Buy This?"
    3. Use Google, and find yourself a COMMON problem in this niche that people are searching for a solution for.
    4. Use iWriter or Odesk and have a UNIQUE 2,000 word article written answering that problem.
      1. For Example: How to lose 7 Lbs in 7 Days Without Working Out
      2. Another Example: Why the Law of Attraction Isn't Working For You
      3. (Obviously, it depends on the niche you're in)
    5. Next up, buy a DOMAIN NAME. It should be something short and catchy and not keyword stuffed.
      1. Bad example: www.Why-The-Law-Of-Attraction-Doesnt-Work.com
      2. Good Example: www.LOALoving.com
      3. You get the Idea
    6. Next up: Get yourself an auto responder account. Both Aweber & Get Response offer 30 day trials for free, or just $1.00.
    7. Set up your auto responder (they'll have 'how to videos' in the members area) to SINGLE OPT IN, and create an opt-in form.
    8. Next up, go to fiverr.com, and pay somebody $5.00 to design a high converting squeeze page (opt-in page) for you to be used to give away your free report (yes, you're going to give it away for free in exchange for people giving you their email address). You'll need to send them the HTML from the opt-in form you just created in your auto responder.
      1. Make sure your opt-in page copy focuses on the BENEFITS, not just the result.
      2. Good Example: Free Report Reveals: How to Lose 7 lbs in 7 days without dieting
      3. Bad Example: The Secrets to Losing Weight (Offers no benefit, doesn't make anybody drool over what you're giving away)
      4. If you don't know how to write copy for your Opt in Page yourself, there are also people on Fiverr that can do that for you.
    9. Optional but Recommended: use fiverr to have a 'download page' designed for your free report. Include a banner for a product you want to promote UNDER the download link. Here's an example of one of mine you can view for reference: Thank You
    Here's how you want to set things up:
    1. People opt-in to your squeeze page
    2. Upon opting-in, RE-DIRECT them to an affiliate offer (via your aff link) that's RELATED to the free offer you're giving away. This will usually result in you making a few sales right away, and hopefully earning back 25-50% of what you spent on the traffic.

      Even if you could prove this "fact" that at least 90% will not finish, it doesn't mean the plan isn't viable.

      Heck, most of the people you describe would skip eating if it meant catching, cleaning and cooking their dinner. That doesn't mean you can't feed yourself this way.

      Sure it is - I can do the whole process above with less than one hour work.

      Just give me an extra 1-2 days to get the content. If I wrote the report myself or used PLR, I could do a complete funnel like this in under an hour easily.

      It's called 'taking action' - you're right in that most WON'T do it, but the one's that DO and are okay with failing a few times as they do it will be much more likely to succeed than those who don't

    The problem is most "gurus" or teachers tell their followers or newbies that they can earn thousands online and make a full time living. The issue is the way newbies perceive this information that comes at them and believe this can happen overnight with little to no work. Most people that make it, took them years before they saw great results such as Eben Pagan. Took him 7 years before he got serious about doing business online and saw success. Most newbies just dabble and not commit to the process it takes to get started. If I were a newbie I would tell myself,

    "Okay, I'm going to save some money up so I can get a coach, and then I'm going to dedicate the next 3 months of my life to getting my "business" up and running."

    Most newbies think it's a game when actuality it's a business, and a business should be treated seriously. The best advice I can give a newbie is do something that you geniunely enjoy, and take it seriously. Leave the hype behind you and be a geniune marketer who actually cares about people's results. Okay I've gone long enough so I'll stop here.

      Just throwing together a product and selling it doesn't promise you riches if this is what your saying. Actually creating a product is way more advanced and takes a lot of testing and branding to make it rich with one...

      I would love to hear your simple strategy... Because it can only be one of the following

      1. Creating a product
      2. Selling someone else's product
      3. Providing a service

      That is the ways to make money online people can dress them up however they want but those are the ways, unless you have the secret lol

      What does it matter if he copied the info or not? It's excellent information and it hits the core of the problems people have in Internet Marketing... They don't take action and they don't create an asset to begin testing and tweaking until they can get it converting.

      Once you have something that is converting then it's about scaling.

    Are there quicker ways to make money? MAybe... maybe not.

    The premise of the OP is correct if not a very condensed outline.

    I have seen these questions asked for nearly 10 years now.

    So some people will always look for short cuts. the reality is as someone put it bluntly... build a business.

    If you want long term and lucrative income, then you have to get serious. The science of being a great marketer takes a long time to learn.

    So regardless of views expressed on here, people will always see things their own way.

    The key is to find a way to make $1 then scale it over and over again.

    I also agree about free traffic - a myth in itself. You are here to sell a product, so go to where your market is and put your ad in front of them.

    While I agree with most of everything stated, this is not the only way to make money on-line, but one very good proven formula.

    Sure there may be easier methods, but it seems most newbies in Internet Marketing, are looking for a direction, any direction...

    Well: here's a direction you can follow....if this is not the path for you, find another path...but know you must take a path.

    And know that what ever you do: it does take work. But once you start seeing some success other successes will follow...

I found Op post pretty straight forward and did not think it was too much, but if you have easier way could you expand on it a little more? I am ready to start IM, So your take would be great. I get the targeted traffic, which most likely is paid traffic then does the conversion depend on the copy?

            Targeted traffic doesn't mean paid. It just means to get your offer 'infront' of your target market. You can use paid or free.

            I use FREE Mostly and some paid.

            Now about the 'conversions'.

            I use a very powerful Internet Based System that pretty well weeds out people who are not currently buyers.

            It 'speaks' to people who are ready to 'buy' right now upposed to people who want to read your emails for weeks, months & possibly even years.

            I put 'this' system right in front of people who are looking for what I have to offer and who are ready to 'buy' right now.

            This Powerful System creates 'immediate' income in the form of residual sales.

            I have the ability of making sales 'up front' instead of setting up a process that could take a newbie years to do.

            This Powerful System even offers people leverage in the form of 'done for you' ad packs that people can purchase if they want to.

            New marketers can leverage the system and system owners success, sales psycology & ad traffic pack that the 'average' marketer doesn't have access to.

            The type of traffic that have is offered by large media buys that would cost the average marketer $10,000 just to get their foot in the door.

            Yes this traffic being offered is PAID Traffic and the ad packages start at $100 that will actually put leads right into each members system.

            So to me it is a lot more simpler than OP's Route.

I think the whole point of your thread was to help people to take action, and do something rather it be your method or something else, which is what I intend to do. This thread is a reminder for me that sometimes we can make things much harder than it has to be.

    Being who you really are and by using the POWER of your Mind, you will get what you are 'focusing' on most of the time.

    The longer you focus on what ever subject, good or bad, you will bring it to you like a Magnet.

    The biggest determining factor to your success will be your 'mindset'.

    Here is Google's definition of 'Mindset' Meaning:

    the established set of attitudes held by someone.
    "the region seems stuck in a medieval mindset"

    So some folks who's mindset is that Internet Marketing is a very very hard thing to accomplish successfully, have the mindset that holds a 'cumbersome' type of attitude.

    Now remember what I said above, there is Great Power in your thoughts, right?

    So if you go into IM using any strategy and take an 'attitude' of difficulty because of that type of mindset, then things will be hard for you no matter what you do.

    But if you go into IM with a 'Mindset' that you can do this IM thing because so many other's have already PROVEN that, then you will get RESULTS More easily than the 'cumbersome' type of individual.

    There is no Luck involved.

    Some people get results with doing less because some people 'naturally' are used to things coming to them easily. Usually this is due to their upbringing.

    Now if you have a 'negative' mindset, you will have to work on yourself harder than your business.

    How do I know this?

    Because I too had a 'negative' mindset for years.

    But I finally figured out that I am deserving and can have great results 'easily'.

    Was it always like that?

    Hell no!

    But when you finally understand that you are 'worthy' of everything great that this world has to offer (while ridding your mind of GUILT) your break through in IM will happen in an 'instant'.

    Your success won't happen in an instant but your breakthrough [takes place right inside of your 'own' mind].

    After that point, your efforts will start yeilding a more successful harvest.

    I guarantee you it is not Network Marketing.

    Setting up a sales funnel like Jeff posted is really not that hard. I've said before that I believe I could teach a really smart monkey how to do it as far as the mechanics.

    The only part that could be construed as "difficult" is the focus required to plan it, build it and set it up so it works right.

    Start with a very simple funnel and build as you learn.

    This was a great post, thank you so much for writing this entire thing. I firmly believe that this will stick for awhile, because it hits the #1 most talked about subject on the forum, which is how to make money unrealistically fast. Especially newbies need to know that this is just isn't possible, and if you aren't willing to put in the work to achieve financial success, not in 1 day, but in 1-2 years, then maybe you should try getting into another industry.         You can buy solo ad traffic for various niches - and it makes it easier to find trusted sellers OUTSIDE of the IM niche - where solo traffic is USUALLY sold

      Research? This is what I do every day. I also teach it to some high end coaching students.

      I'm working on a product with a rather large IMer actually, if all goes well we'll be launching in April or May.

    Actually, I wanted to give an example of this in action.

    While I'm NOT using Solo Ads to Drive Traffic, I'm using FB ads and a FB fan page and doing quite well with it.
    1. My Opt In Page (please do not opt in): Free Chicken Coop Plans
    2. Once people opt-in, (this is a bit different from what I outline on my first post here), they're sent to THIS thank you page: Thank you
    I built this opt-in page and thank you page with LeadPages, took about 10 minutes total.


    As you can see, the TYP tells them their plans are being emailed to them, but gives them the op to get ADDITIONAL chicken coop plans via the "Click to Continue" button - which re-directs them via my affiliate link to a product I'm promoting.

    Then, of course - they also get my first EMAIL in the Auto Responder series, sending them the link to the thank you page once again.

    Anyways, I'm doing WELL with this niche - but it's not one of my HUGE money niches which is why I'm sharing it.

      I've actually found it quite easy to sell products as an affiliate as long as the correct audience is being addressed. There no "peddling" of anything if the customer feels like their problem or desire is genuinely being fulfilled. This process is quite simple, actually.

      Just because it was broken down in a step by step format doesn't make it challenging or hard. If anything I think it was easy to follow, actionable, and a little too honest for most people to handle

      is it best to build a website with plenty of info and then have one of the pages set up as a sqeeze page? - or is it more common to just stick up the squeeze page and focus on ppc and conversion rate of that page

    Nice post Jeff. I`ve learned over the years, nothing fast will last. I just recently started using solo ads and my optin rate is 47%. It has been my experience that it takes money to make money. I am a risk taker by nature and have the mindset that my investments will always make money.

    When I first started online 15 years ago, I did alot of free stuff and never made a dime. Once I started investing, I made money. If a person wants to make ten grand a day, it takes more than just work, it takes cash flow.

    Good stuff ! I think that if you just read this post, dig a little deeper into each step, and then focus on taking action and actually getting stuff done(instead of reading 10 new methods a day) you can really start making money on the web.

    Like alot of people say, having ideas and finding methods for making money is easy, actually doing the work is the hard part.

    The average newbie sending $100(or $1000 for that matter) worth of traffic to a squeeze page that he made himself will result in roughly zero sales.

    I've been making full-time income through paid traffic since 2012 and I started with very little money, but was very lucky to stumble on my first successful campaign (a website of mine in an obscure niche ranking 1st page was having an extraordinarily high conversion rate by sheer luck and I proceeded to send paid traffic to it, which resulted in an instant income of hundreds of dollars per day). That's the kind of luck you always get when you choose a goal or a path (IM) and you stick to it for years (and I had been) because you have no other choice. It may take years, but eventually you stumble onto something successful.

    I also see many threads from people wanting to make x amount of money by so and so date. It's not gonna happen. Not one person making such threads has reached their goal since IM exists. In fact, 99% of those people will probably not earn a single dollar in IM by their deadline.

    Now if you have 20x of your desired money to invest, that's a different story - you can get there fast.

    For anyone needing to make $1000 by tomorrow or $50k by the end of the year, either get a job or get a loan from your uncle, because you won't make even 1% of that sum in IM. That's a fact.

    Despite the bickering, this thread has a couple hidden gems that I think are helpful for a lot of marketers, including the newbies and the advanced marketers. It also gives a great overall picture, or an end goal to have. Is it a perfect method? Not exactly, but it should get you started in the right direction, especially if you're at a loss right now of not knowing what to do.

    Great thread, and the original post should not be abandoned despite some posts on here saying it can't work.

    In the end, it's about finding something that works for you.

    People complaining or pointing out that this method is too overwhelming or too much hard work really don't have a clue how online marketing/making money online works.

    Jeff stated that this can be done in less than 2 hours, roughly 4 hours if you're a freshman online marketer (like me). "The Wolf of Wall Street" is almost 3 hours long. See where I'm getting at? The time it takes to watch a movie where an egotistical drug addict makes millions is roughly the same amount of time it would take you to set up a potential legitimate money-making-method. (Just used the movie as a time reference)

    I have myself dived into an online project that will require a massive amount work ethic and consume a large portion of my spare time for an entire month, just to get it up and running! And it's not even going to guarantee me any kind of income streams, I'm doing it because it's a viable business plan and I recognize the amount of work it needs.

    Making some actual money online is nowhere near as passive as advertising makes it out to be. You have to maintain your business, keep it fresh and up-to-date, to even have a chance of keeping your audience and traffic. The only time when the income is passive is when you actual get the check or get it wired to your bank account, because chances are that you're not trading your time for money (not in that particular moment).

    Anyway, enough of my rant, I just get so sick of people always wanting the easy way out!

    May I add some of my "too sense"

    First of all, create the content yourself. Don't hire it out, if you're choosing a niche you're passionate about and intend to dominate that niche, put hit passion in print!

    We are talking about a $10k/month biz, do the work to create Quality. Don't use fiver. Build a squeeze page that reflects you.

    Be careful as you build your client base to not just sell sell sell. Remember that you are marketing to other human beings. If you are out in a coffee shop or a brew pub (one of my favorite offices to use) (and yes I often write while drinking) (and no it doesn't effect my writttings), then look around at the people sitting there and imagine them getting your email or seeing your squeeze page or reading your report. In fact, print out and share them with people you know and ask for honest feedback. Let them be your BS meters. Because one of the biggest secrets that separates marketers who make money from those who try to make money, is they are human with their audience.

    Don't "do marketing". You already are a marketer, don't just do something that doesn't feel right because some ebook or so called guru told you to, follow your gut when it comes to how to talk to and approach your audience, do it like if you were talking to a person face to face and be a f@cking human!

    I get so fed up with the sales letters that sound like one of those cheesy used car lot commercials where the guy is screaming at you. Does he sell cars? Sure. Does he sell Ferrari's? No.

    Anyway, just expanding on when it comes to the way you frame yourself to your audience.

    Hard Work is Involved.

    Want something SIMPLE you can do that works?

    Warning: Work Required
    1. Pick a Niche you're familiar with, or better yet passionate about
    2. Search the Clickbank and JVZoo Marketplaces and find 3-4 GOOD SELLING products in that niche. Watch their sales videos (or read their sales letters) and ask yourself "Would I Buy This?"
    3. Use Google, and find yourself a COMMON problem in this niche that people are searching for a solution for.
    4. Use iWriter or Odesk and have a UNIQUE 2,000 word article written answering that problem.
      1. For Example: How to lose 7 Lbs in 7 Days Without Working Out
      2. Another Example: Why the Law of Attraction Isn't Working For You
      3. (Obviously, it depends on the niche you're in)
    5. Next up, buy a DOMAIN NAME. It should be something short and catchy and not keyword stuffed.
      1. Bad example: www.Why-The-Law-Of-Attraction-Doesnt-Work.com
      2. Good Example: www.LOALoving.com
      3. You get the Idea
    6. Next up: Get yourself an auto responder account. Both Aweber & Get Response offer 30 day trials for free, or just $1.00.
    7. Set up your auto responder (they'll have 'how to videos' in the members area) to SINGLE OPT IN, and create an opt-in form.
    8. Next up, go to fiverr.com, and pay somebody $5.00 to design a high converting squeeze page (opt-in page) for you to be used to give away your free report (yes, you're going to give it away for free in exchange for people giving you their email address). You'll need to send them the HTML from the opt-in form you just created in your auto responder.
      1. Make sure your opt-in page copy focuses on the BENEFITS, not just the result.
      2. Good Example: Free Report Reveals: How to Lose 7 lbs in 7 days without dieting
      3. Bad Example: The Secrets to Losing Weight (Offers no benefit, doesn't make anybody drool over what you're giving away)
      4. If you don't know how to write copy for your Opt in Page yourself, there are also people on Fiverr that can do that for you.
    9. Optional but Recommended: use fiverr to have a 'download page' designed for your free report. Include a banner for a product you want to promote UNDER the download link. Here's an example of one of mine you can view for reference: Thank You
    Here's how you want to set things up:
    1. People opt-in to your squeeze page
    2. Upon opting-in, RE-DIRECT them to an affiliate offer (via your aff link) that's RELATED to the free offer you're giving away. This will usually result in you making a few sales right away, and hopefully earning back 25-50% of what you spent on the traffic.
    3. The first EMAIL they're sent upon opting in should send them to your Thank you/Download Page (example above) which again gives them their free report, and shows them a banner for the product you're promoting.
    Next, you want to set up your auto responder emails.

    I suggest starting with 7 emails, 1 per day
    1. The First Email will be a link to their free download
    2. The Second Email should be a 'hi, how's it going" type email, reminding them to download their free report, and offering help if they need it
    3. The THIRD email can be your first promotion, send an email promoting the product you re-directed them to when they first opted in. You should be able to find swipe copy (pre-written email) in the JV/Affiliate portion of the products website you're promoting
    4. The Fourth Email - I like to send a motivational video from youtube, something inspiring that everybody can relate to
    5. The Fifth Email I'll do a follow up promoting the same product again
    6. The Sixth Email, I like to scour the internet for some useful information they might be able to use. I'll either send them a link to the article I found, or write my own version of it and include that as the content of the email
    7. The Seventh Email: Promote your product one last time, using another swipe file from the JV/Affiliate Page
    8. Rinse and Repeat with 7 More Emails and another product, if you so wish.
    Congrats, you've now got a fully functional email funnel set up in your niche.


    Next up, you need to get people to your page.


    NOW - here's the part that's going to scare many people away.

    Screw free traffic, don't waste your time - invest in PAID traffic and re-invest your profits.

    I HIGHLY recommend Solo Ads. They're easy to find for the IM niche on the Warrior Forum, and many other popular niches can be found on www.clickonomy.com. It's a safe site, and I use it myself for many non IM Solo Ads with great results.

    Spend $100 on Traffic, or about 100-125 clicks and see how many opt-ins you get. If your opt in rate is above 50% - then you're doing things right, if it's NOT - you may want to have another designer give a shot at creating a squeeze page for you - OR update your copy as it might be too plain.

    Anyways, I put ALOT more time into this than I planned on doing.

    It's quite a long and detailed way!

    Perhaps newbie don't know about Landing Page or Autoresponder, and the fact is 95% of teachings about it are all confusing and there are a lot of Banner on the internet that say things like 5 minutes earn 3000-50000 per month or they try to sell softwares "that are doing all alone with 1 click!".

    Learning is the first step to everything! If you want to drive a car and is your fist time you try it's different from someone that you that have 10 -20years of experience!

    Sometimes the newbie even don't know that he/she needs a CAR!

    It's also really important and true to have a really good Teacher/Menthor!

    IM have his own language PPC, PPV, SOLO, etc.

    I put myself in the same confusion there is out there with this BS marketing about the

    "Ultimate Super Special KUNG FU software that generate $8000 every time you sleep for 8 hours with your PINK TEDDY B"

    4. Use iWriter or Odesk and have a UNIQUE 2,000 word article written answering that problem.
      1. For Example: How to lose 7 Lbs in 7 Days Without Working Out
      2. Another Example: Why the Law of Attraction Isn't Working For You
      3. (Obviously, it depends on the niche you're in)
    5. Next up, buy a DOMAIN NAME. It should be something short and catchy and not keyword stuffed.
      1. Bad example: www.Why-The-Law-Of-Attraction-Doesnt-Work.com
      2. Good Example: www.LOALoving.com
      3. You get the Idea
    6. Next up: Get yourself an auto responder account. Both Aweber & Get Response offer 30 day trials for free, or just $1.00.
    7. Set up your auto responder (they'll have 'how to videos' in the members area) to SINGLE OPT IN, and create an opt-in form.
    8. Next up, go to fiverr.com, and pay somebody $5.00 to design a high converting squeeze page (opt-in page) for you to be used to give away your free report (yes, you're going to give it away for free in exchange for people giving you their email address). You'll need to send them the HTML from the opt-in form you just created in your auto responder.
      1. Make sure your opt-in page copy focuses on the BENEFITS, not just the result.
      2. Good Example: Free Report Reveals: How to Lose 7 lbs in 7 days without dieting
      3. Bad Example: The Secrets to Losing Weight (Offers no benefit, doesn't make anybody drool over what you're giving away)
      4. If you don't know how to write copy for your Opt in Page yourself, there are also people on Fiverr that can do that for you.
    9. Optional but Recommended: use fiverr to have a 'download page' designed for your free report. Include a banner for a product you want to promote UNDER the download link. Here's an example of one of mine you can view for reference: Thank You
    Here's how you want to set things up:
    1. People opt-in to your squeeze page
    2. Upon opting-in, RE-DIRECT them to an affiliate offer (via your aff link) that's RELATED to the free offer you're giving away. This will usually result in you making a few sales right away, and hopefully earning back 25-50% of what you spent on the traffic.
    3. The first EMAIL they're sent upon opting in should send them to your Thank you/Download Page (example above) which again gives them their free report, and shows them a banner for the product you're promoting.
    Next, you want to set up your auto responder emails.

    I suggest starting with 7 emails, 1 per day
    1. The First Email will be a link to their free download
    2. The Second Email should be a 'hi, how's it going" type email, reminding them to download their free report, and offering help if they need it
    3. The THIRD email can be your first promotion, send an email promoting the product you re-directed them to when they first opted in. You should be able to find swipe copy (pre-written email) in the JV/Affiliate portion of the products website you're promoting
    4. The Fourth Email - I like to send a motivational video from youtube, something inspiring that everybody can relate to
    5. The Fifth Email I'll do a follow up promoting the same product again
    6. The Sixth Email, I like to scour the internet for some useful information they might be able to use. I'll either send them a link to the article I found, or write my own version of it and include that as the content of the email
    7. The Seventh Email: Promote your product one last time, using another swipe file from the JV/Affiliate Page
    8. Rinse and Repeat with 7 More Emails and another product, if you so wish.
    Congrats, you've now got a fully functional email funnel set up in your niche.


    Next up, you need to get people to your page.


    NOW - here's the part that's going to scare many people away.

    Screw free traffic, don't waste your time - invest in PAID traffic and re-invest your profits.

    I HIGHLY recommend Solo Ads. They're easy to find for the IM niche on the Warrior Forum, and many other popular niches can be found on www.clickonomy.com. It's a safe site, and I use it myself for many non IM Solo Ads with great results.

    Spend $100 on Traffic, or about 100-125 clicks and see how many opt-ins you get. If your opt in rate is above 50% - then you're doing things right, if it's NOT - you may want to have another designer give a shot at creating a squeeze page for you - OR update your copy as it might be too plain.

    Anyways, I put ALOT more time into this than I planned on doing.

    I signed up on your site but after I entered in my email address I was not redirected to an affiliate product page which is what you recommend to do right? I'm just a little unclear about this part, after the user enters their email should we redirect them to an affiliate offer without any thank you page for signing up?
