Question about taxes in the Untited States

Hi
I'm not sure if it's the right place.. but probably many of the members here know about it
I live in Israel and want to open an American bank account with Payoneer
The question is if I will need to pay taxes to the US, or I'm free from taxes there because I'm not an American citizen

  As Theo says, an accountant is the person to ask.
  
  But as far as I've ever been aware, using Payoneer's service does not in itself make foreign-national, foreign residents liable for US taxation (and I think it would be very well-known, as well as highly anomalous, if it did).

  I'd follow that up with a qualified tax pro, as US tax laws are notorious for changing with each session of Congress.

  If you earn interest on funds in a US account the US may want a share. Otherwise, you generally do not owe taxes on money just because you put it in a bank account.

  I remember reading some where that a bank account is not considered doing business in the US for tax purposes. I am not a licensed expert in this field..

The issue for someone who is neither a U.S. resident or a U.S. citizen is where the income is earned, not where the funds are parked. If you have no U.S.-source income and are not a U.S. resident or a U.S. citizen, you owe no U.S. tax.

The issue gets more complicated if you are living in Israel but are a U.S. citizen. I assume that is not your case.
