  • Desktop.

It's a gaming machine I built myself that got drafted in for work duties when my laptop broke. I never got around to replacing the laptop, so just have the desktop and a tablet now.
  • Either Desk Top or Laptop just make sure it has plenty of speed.

    • I have never understood this question as many times as it has been asked.

I use the computer I have. If a person is going to take action on fulfilling their dreams, starting right now from where you are with what you have is the way to begin.

Admittedly, there might be something I don't understand about this question, and if someone could enlighten me as to what I am missing, that would be most awesome.

  • Dual monitor desktop for main computer, a laptop for travel or working outside, 5 other computers for various tasks and one cool looking office to work from.
  • Laptop (Ultrabook actually)

HP touch envy 15 inch .. i7 processor, 8gb ram.Its great apart from low resolution
  • I primarily work on the desktop I built myself.

I have another power laptop that I use when I'm staying somewhere else and will need to do something like render video. For light traveling I use my MacBook Pro.
  • Powerful Laptop with station setup. I have multiple monitors and keyword + mouse.

When I need something on the go I have a 2-in-1 10" ASUS windows 8 tablet + iPad mini
  • Laptop!

    Have 2 of 'em...

Ones bigger, the other is smaller

    • Monstrous gaming laptop which acts as my work station as well as my studio for video production.

      Custom made beast
  • desktop and 2 24"monitors - I do a lot of content creation etc.

    doesn't matter really.

when you cut through all the noise, you need decent speed and that's pretty much it.

    Marketing doesn't take much.

If need a pc with all the tools for making websites etc then you're in trouble IMO.
  • I take the twisted pair in my hands and start sending frames of bits manually.

People use whatever they can and need. It doesn't matter.

I used to build huge systems of several computers, laptops and walls of monitors. But what's the point? now I use just one laptop and manage tons of freelancers who substitute all that unnecessary hardware. OMG, I even used to have a few servers. Naturally, huge 2-Unit servers with 15k RPM coolers and 2 processors on one motherboard. And it turns out that everything's useless. You can do whatever you want just with one laptop.

Just don't forget to back your data up frequently Shit happens

    • Truth.

After an a nasty incident almost a year ago I have online backup and multiple hard drives ready just in case. It can be an absolute nightmare to have your momentum knocked down by a friggen corrupted drive.
  • Desktop or Laptop only, really. If you plan on running any kind of multithreaded automation tools its best to have some punch.
  • I use desktop for doing internet marketing.
Any kind of computer device can be used to internet marketing.

    Thanks.
  • I use a "cheapest at the store" Lenovo desktop computer with a 23" monitor -- Windows 7.

I upgrade the memory and recently bought a 1 terabyte drive to install in case I need it down the road. I thought I needed it, but dumped tons of stuff off the 500GB drive and have plenty of room left.

I also have my old Window XP computer tied in with an auto switch so I can use the old stuff on the XP using the same keyboard, mouse and monitor. I seldom turn it on now, but once in a while it comes in handy.

I have an old XP laptop and a Windows 7 laptop but almost never use them.
  • I use a PC Laptop, Mac Air, Note 10 Tablet and S4 smartphone.

I like to use them all as sometimes I get ideas when I am travelling and sometimes I get them sitting at my desk, down the beach or shopping. In fact I've got one right now so I will go put it into action.

Its not the machine you use but if you take action.

  • I'm using Laptop.. Acer Aspire i3 Processor.

    Easy to use
  • if you really want to do internet marketing ,that not important
  • I own both a desktop and a laptop, but I prefer using my desktop because it's more comfortable. But, for doing internet marketing it's really not important what device you use! It's important you have access the the internet, that's all.
  • It 's not important. You can use every notebook for do internet marketing.
  • Desktop as i find a laptop too restrictive especially when coding.

  • I use a Desktop computer.

It's probably about 10 years old, XP System & made by E-Machines.

Paid under $2k [10 Years Ago].

    Not very sophisticated at all.

My wife and sons have the 'sophisticated' stuff.

It's not so much about what you have, it's what you are 'willing' to do with what you already have.

  • Mostly a desktop, but I use a laptop or ipad when I am away from the house sometimes.

Dropbox is my friend I am currently experimenting with a cloud drive on one of my websites.
  • You can use any of you mentioned. If you want to do IM then that's doesn't fact what you are using really..The fact is what you are doing. But whatever you use laptop/desktop must be reliable and should have a good internet connection. That's it. Good luck
  • I am using a Dell Lattitude e4300 with Windows 7.

Does everything I need it too.

Unless you need a super fast processors, graphics or any super fancy stuff, then any laptop or desktop will do.
  • I use different computers and configurations depending on different tasks, I.E. a Desktop built and optimized specifically for professional Audio Recording, one desktop optimized for Video Production and graphics editing, and a laptop configured to handle much of either task for when I'm on the go.

As for internet marketing I use this......

But I think It's time to upgrade to this....
