There are loads of ways to monetize a YouTube channel, but if you are getting videos from YouTube and putting them on your site someone else will be getting the monetization dollars. So think of it as monetizing the site, not the video. Monetizing your site would be like monetizing any other blog or web site. Put AdSense ads on the side, above, and below the videos. Maybe use Amazon Associates. And of course for real money you want to have a paid subscriber section. Don't forget to look into selling your own products on your site, always the best way to make money.

Although many viral video sites use adsense it is pretty ambiguous as to whether or not Adsense TOS actually allows it or simply tolerates it. I've heard of people getting banned for using adsense on such sites so just a heads up.

There is a more relevant and high paying ad network Tribalfusion that would be more of fit for your site especially with the amount of traffic you are getting it pays $1 CPC minimum according to some reviews I've read.

Additionally you can use buysellads, or become an affiliate with a sites in markets which are very popular like gamefly (pays $15 per free sign up) or netflix if their program is still open through cj.

Affiliates like these are suitable for a general audience and doesn't require super targeted traffic.

Adsense pays a lot high for Funny Video niche in fact.

It is against the Adsense TOS for it to be used on the same page as a YouTube embeded video.
They won't ban your account but they will ban the site.

1) Capture Emails (Security + Lifetime Value Commissions)
2) Add adsense banners or list on BuySellAds.com
3) Signup for Clickbank, Clicksure & JVZoo and add JV affiliate links
4) Add affiliate banner ads

However, focus on the list. You should be getting at least 2000 - 4000 subscribers per month

Firstly, adsense will work for everything from HTTPS to HTTPZ lol...

But first little warning I should put out is, DON'T monetize by putting YouTube ads before your videos, because it WILL SURELY reduce engagement on your videos - unless your users are already used to that.

I really, want to go into how you can monetize on here. But unfortunately it'll will be too much to type; i'll PM you my Skype ID and we can talk at the weekend.

Here are your main options:

1. Sell banner ads on your website
Pluses: Regular money since it's usually sold per month
Minus: May put users off if they aren't already used to it

2. Sell CPA (cost per action) offers
Pluses: Instant money, no refunds. Can be a lot of cash, since you have viral traffic volume
Minus: You may not know how to use CPA ads effectively & there's a short period for them to approve your account (tip: just call them right after you sign up and they'll approve faster)

3. Sell HOT Amazon Products
I know this seems unlikely to be a good avenue. But since you've got viral traffic; a low cost cool product that your average visitor will love is a good bet. Amazon has a ridiculously high conversion rate for some reason.
Pluses: No extra technical setup needed on your side. High conversions
Minus: Lower commission than on an information product

4. Engage your audience. Build a brand. Build a relationship. Build your email & phone database. Sell
I think this is pretty self explanatory - hardcore content marketing & user engagement really. If you need help building your database, give me a shout.
Pluses: Your audience will love you. You have a relationship & brand that you can leverage & they will buy more easily from you. And if ever, God forbid, your site is taken down for some weird reason which only the FTC cool dudes can come up with, you still have the contact info of your audience & can market to them still - best online insurance policy ever.
Minus: Requires hardwork: you really have to put in the blood, sweat & tears here (or outsource it )
