A Lot Easier to Get On Page One of Google Now?!

INTERNET MARKETING

I just noticed that searching on Google is now bringing up 30 results per page instead of 10 like it has always been. This will make it a lot easier to get on page one!

Sure you might still be way down on page one, but I have to assume being #30 at the bottom of page 1 is a heck of a lot better for getting traffic than being #30 but at the bottom of page 3.

I don't know if they are going to keep the results like this but for now they seem to be.

From what I can see 10 is still the default (here on my computer anyway) - I thought you had to change your preferences to have 30 show up?

  Maybe that is the case but I definitely didn't change any preferences. I just noticed it today out of nowhere.

You could always choose that preference before.

  I dont think its 30 I still see 10
  
  Try signing out of your Google account and then see if its still 30...
  
  That would be nice though and I would think the searchers would like it with less time waiting for the next page to load and they would make more money from more advertisers...
  
  Most omportantly like you said we would be on Page 1 in no time

  My default is still showing that it's set at 10 but every search I do keeps coming up with 30. Maybe they are just testing it out.

  I logged out of my Google account, closed my browser and started all over again. Still coming up with 30 per page on every search even though it does say in my preferences that it's set at 10.
  
  I'd rather have the default be 30 for everyone if it was my choice.

  Yeah I know but I never changed my preferences. And when I do go look at my preferences they are set at 10 but it's still coming up with 30 on every search.

  It's still 10 for me. I think it's better that way.
  
  Results are better to look at. If it was 30 on one page, I think that would be a little too much / overcrowded.

  I normally have my preferences set up to show 100 results so I can spot any opportunities to obtain a front page ranking by looking for high ranking articles, squidoo lenses, hubpages...etc
  
  If I see something in the top 50 then I'm fairly confident I can outrank it with my own page and actually move towards a top 10 ranking.

I got on page one by having the most appropriate name for my site. People automatically type it in. But thanks for the info everyone.
