      See, not everybody lives in the US and in some countries it is legal. What the plugin I saw does is put popups on pages with iframes that have the affiliate link of the sale; a person can either buy the product or get rid of it by clearing their browser. Nowhere did I mention I had intentions of participating in it, just wanted to hear your views.

    Brent really answered, nothing more to say then don't do it unless you want to do some time in jail. Cookie stuffing is like selling drugs, eventuality you will get caught.

    The point is, it's a crappy practice, whether legal or not.

    People should be free to browse the Web without having to worry about this trash. It's bad enough that Web browsers allow marketers to use the "Are you sure you want to leave this page" tactic.
