Shopping Cart to use with ClickBank?

Since the introduction of the new regulations that came into effect on Jan 1st 2015 regarding the charging of VAT on digital products, the only payment solution that appears to have this all sorted is ClickBank.

However, I wish to sell digital products via a shopping cart, enabling customers to buy more than one product at a time.

Does anyone know of a shopping cart solution that offers ClickBank as a payment method? This question has been asked before of the WF but the posts are at least 2 years old.

I suspect the answer is no, but just thought I would check anyway.

    Dave,

Paypal provides for the set up of both domestic and international sales tax rates, and will apply the tax automatically based on the country in which the buyer initiates the transaction.

Assuming you currently have a Paypal account...
go to Profile -> My Selling Tools -> Sales Tax and click on the update link.

Thanks for your input Sid, but it doesn't solve the problem of using a shopping cart with ClickBank as the main payment solution.

Sorry... I guess I misunderstood your goals.

While Clickbank apparently does handle EU VAT, it does not currently handle 1) multiple line items per order, nor 2) variable quantity per line item. Not exactly an ideal solution for a shopping cart.

Paypal allows for the input of all VAT tax rates, AND allows for multi-line item orders.

Thanks to all for their input. The ideal answer is at post #8. ClickBank are currently the only company that take care of the VAT for you. Currently they only offer single product sales, but once their shopping cart comes out of beta, they will be offering the perfect solution.

Well, Digital Access Pass has a shopping cart that works with their membership system and that will work with Clickbank, JVZoo and the others to handle the whole European Tax issues. I am a DAP user and I think its highly recommended...

Again that will not meet the OP requirement - to buy more than one product at a time

The problem is that you need to establish in advance fixed price points for the products you sell with ClickBank and list them as items in your ClickBank account (maximum 500).

If you are selling a variety of different products at the same price (say $10) then you would set up items with prices $10, $20, $30, $40 etc and use some program code to display the total price and deliver the selected items on the thank you page.

Once you have different priced items the number of possible permutations will quickly exceed the 500 limit.

          Hi All,

We are currently in a closed beta with our shopping cart feature which allows you to purchase multiple products in a single transaction. We have several clients who are currently using this in production and are actively providing feedback to help us ensure the best possible implementation for all clients.

          Stay tuned for more details.

          Thanks,
          The ClickBank Team

Is there any forecast as to when this may be generally available?

              Hi Dave,

We anticipate this feature reaching general availability in late Q1 or early Q2 of this year. I would recommend downloading the PDF guide located in our knowledge base to familiarize yourself with the capability in its current form. You can find that on our Shopping Cart Guide page here.

              Thanks,
              The ClickBank Team
