Job Site Affiliates

hi guys,

I'm thinking about setting up a site in wordpress and ranking it for a technical, professional job hunting niche, and then signing up for an affiliate program with one of the big job sites like TotalJobs, Indeed, Monster.co.uk, etc.

Anyone got any experience of this and recommend it / advise against it? Tips of how to do it?

    I have been running as an Indeed affiliate for a few months while building my niche job site. While it's nice to get the populated jobs from Indeed on my site, it really hasn't paid off (to date).

    Ultimately, I hope to pull down the affiliate posts when I get regular posting, but the problem I am running into is the niche I am in. The businesses who would purchase a job ad have found Craigslist or other free sites as a better alternative.

    Please note, I have not fully launched yet and have spent little to no time marketing my job section. I'm just concerned I will need to spend quite a bit to acquire new paying customers.

    I think this sounds like a good idea but you need to look at larger city's to have it pay off. Maybe do some research on the citys with the highest unemployment rate and try to rank those citys.

    Yes this is something difficult market to earn money as if you don't have enough people then it's very hard earn some decent money from the site.

    So, its very important to find a reliable poster.

    I'm with my business for 3 years and using Craigslist from the beginning. Tried with lot of posters by this time and wasted couple thousand bucks to get a consistent and reliable poster. Finally i found someone from a forum. Working with him for a month and i must say- he is a reliable poster having consistency in posting both in SERVICE & JOB section .

    Another important thing - he is charging me only 0.50$ per ad for SERVICE SECTION and very expert in posting in JOB SECTION.
