How to decide Price for Clickbank Product

Please can you advise how to decide price for a product I am about to launch on Clickbank.

The product is a series of videos, audios and ebooks for pregnant moms who want to practice pre and postnatal yoga.

Specifically the package includes

  • 29 Prenatal Yoga Video Classes covering each week of pregnancy (30-60 minutes each)
  • 3 Labor Preparation Videos (20-40 minutes each)
  • 6 Symptom Relief Videos -- how to relieve sciatica, backache, headache, constipation, insomnia, and promote healthy digestive flow (20 minutes each)
  • 4 Postnatal Yoga Videos -- a safe and gentle weekly progression to get your body back (30 minutes each)
  • 6 Guided Meditation Audios for relaxation and deep connection with your baby (15-30 minutes each)
  • 4 Baby Massage Videos on how to ease colic and teething pain, strengthen bonding, and improve baby coordination (15-30 minutes each)
31 FREE Prenatal Yoga eBooks -- one for each week, 12-40, plus labor and partner yoga

Currently on our site we have it priced at $67 and it is selling. We are considering raising the price to $97.

What price do you think we should charge? How to decide the correct price, please? Should we be going higher or lower?

    Many thanks,

    Christelle

It's all guessing, until you test it for yourself, and gradually form a clearer impression of the optimal price.

Some of it depends on what else is available in your niche, and what competitors are charging, which you'll know more about than others here?

Sometimes it's even right not to optimize on the price of a specific product, because there's more long-term value (for future sales?) just from having a higher number of customers.

From what you've said, my guesses are that you should increase the price to at least $97 as quickly as possible, and that your price is much too low; but obviously I know less about your product and your market and your customer-demographics and numbers than you do, and you also have no idea whether my judgment's actually worth anything anyway, so how does it really help you?

Do you have other products on ClickBank? (You know that they may not accept a price above $50 for a new vendor's first product, right? Occasionally they'll make an exception, depending on vendor reputation, etc.).

Alexa, Thank you very much, and NO I didn't' know about the $50 dollars restriction.
Your opinion is as good as any, and I really grateful.

I will increase my price and take it from there. I will let you know!

        FYI, ClickBank have stated

"If you have a high-quality product with a relatively low risk of returns or chargebacks, we are likely to approve your request. A well designed consumer-friendly website will help your case too."

Where is this offer going to be placed in your sales funnel?

If it is the first offer then perhaps only $7 to realize they are "buyers"
Or maybe you feel like you want a minimum of $97 for all your hard work you put into it, so I would think it needs to be further down in your sales funnel and targeted to "buyers" of your list

It is about testing to see where it works best and knowing your audience

You could also split up the products and use upsells at the time of purchase using ClickBank's PitchPlus system.

ClickBank's Pitchplus system allows you to offer your customer an upsell immediately after he pays. One advantage is that if he pays by credit card he does not need to reenter the details for the 2nd item. You can offer an additional 2 upsells if you can get approval.

Going higher than $50+ is stretching it even for the most professional product on Clickbank.

Of course, it all depends on your demographic. I do know that the Yoga industry is HUGE, and it is continuously growing with the new ways Yoga gurus are developing. I would highly recommend pricing it high if you believe your market REALLY needs your market.

Just put yourself in the shoes of your customers. Will they feel compelled based on the salescopy to buy your video training?

Is it a serious need that WILL save their lives, improve their lifestyle, and SOLVE A PROBLEM?

      internetmarketer1,

Yes I do believe that our product will improve their lifestyle, and resolve lots of problems, like all the pregnancy symptoms.
I really appreciate your comment, it makes sense for me.
And I was in my customer shoes as I couldn't find anything like that when I was pregnant, so I decided to create it!

As I said, the product is already selling for $67 via our website, and so far no repayment done.
I keep in touch with all customer looking for guidance, those having questions or doubts, I think this is really important.

I feel this can make a huge difference in a woman's pregnancy and I will keep working hard to make it happened. My dream will be that all pregnant woman can get access to Prenatal Yoga, even if it is to give away for FREE part of my classes as a welcome pack when they get checked the first time by the Midwife or Doc...

Thanks for helping me in this journey.

      Christelle
