My goal to reach $100 p/d profit from IM

TL;DR at the bottom

Dear all,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I'm beginning a journey like many before me to achieve the goal of making $100 per day from Internet Marketing.

This will not be my main source of income, but rather a further boost to my current income from my full time job.

-----

The reason why I am here is because I am looking for advice in regards to where would be a solid place to learn how to achieve my goals. I have read previous posts and have come to the conclusion that signing up to Affplaybook would be a good place to begin.

I have disposable income that I am comfortable investing into my IM projects and I am motivated to reach my goal. I have set myself a time frame of between 1 - 1.5 years to achieve the goal of consistently making $100 a day.

In all honesty I would prefer to be mentored on a more personal basis then using a forum, therefore if you have any suggestions of any mentors that would work with me 1 on 1 or something similar that would be an avenue I may potentially explore too.

ZTH91

TL;DR
  • Main goal to reach $100 a day stable income.
  • I have a source of income that will aid my IM projects
  • I would like my IM to be a further boost to my current income
  • Comfortable investing in training and obviously my projects
  • Aiming to reach my goal by 12-18 months
    QUESTIONS:
  • Question 1: Is Affplaybook the right place to begin my journey?
  • Question 2: Are there any mentors that you would suggest?
  • Question 3: How much investment per month would be required roughly in PPV/PPC for $100 a day profit?

First of the forum to be on is this forum.
Second the people who succeed in online marketing, that becomes their only job.
You have realistic goals but $100 a day is attainable sooner than you think.
Third for any business model you have to test and tweak and optimise for it to make profit.
Fourth, Focus focus focus and take action, Do not fall for 'Shiny object syndrome' there is no Magic pill.

I have personally never done any CPA but there are plenty of Warriors that do very well with it and offer lots of free advice. I would suggest visiting the CPA forum and reading as much as you can before seeking out a mentor. That way you may learn ahead of time the specific areas where you need help.

If you are totally new to Internet Marketing niche, i suggest you join a Proven Full Power Package Program with a REAL successful mentor to guide and assist you to success in less than a year or even faster! It's all boil down to how fast can you learn and how aggressive you are in your marketing campaigns!

If i were to start from newbie again, i would not have wasted my time, effort and money buying all the ebooks and reports from so called "Gurus" or "IM Mentor" which are basically repackaged and reselling all the junk found online!

    What are your current strengths?

There are a TON of different ways that you can make $100 p/d with IM but you need a gameplan on how to approach it.

-Do you have a service you can offer or a product?
-Do you plan on promoting someone else's offer in exchange for commission?
-Do you have money to invest into Paid traffic or will you try your luck with free traffic methods?

These are just a few questions that you need to ask yourself before you begin your journey.

If I were you, I would also look into
1 - How to create a squeeze page
2 - How to effectively build a list for your desired niche
3 - How to do niche research to see if it is a profitable IM niche

    Good Luck

If you have money to spend then it will be much easier reaching that goal, you just need to follow the basic priciple of making money online:
-> Build a sales funnel promoting a high converting offer
-> Send targeted traffic to that offer
-> Test and increase conversions until you make the funnel profitable.

There's not much more to it than that, but the testing phase is where most people fail, so just stick to it and learn everything about these 3 things.

    Good luck!

    Hi,

My advice would be to PICK ONE COACH or mentor and stick with
    them right till the end.

The last thing you want to do is go around getting BITS & PIECES of
tips, tricks, advice & strategies from many different marketers/coaches etc.

This will make your head EXPLODE.

Okay not literally but in the sense that you'll get TOTAL....

    .....INFO OVERLOAD!!!

Having 10 - 100 different coaches shouting out orders to you every single
day will leave you with many conflicting and confusing points of view.

    Do your research.

Match your coach with your GOALS, targets and ongoing plans.

Does that coach seem like a good fit for YOU?

And so on and so forth.

This is important so don't overlook this step.

    All the best,

    Gavin

Samfakroon - Thanks for your tips, very sound advice there! I would be over the moon if I reach my goal in less time than I have mentioned above, but to avoid disappointment and to allow myself room to experiment I have given myself slightly more breathing room.

CpvTrafficPro - My current strengths lie in education as this is the sector I work in. I would potentially be able to create products to help students pass their IELTS exam which is a prerequisite for foreign students looking to gain entry to English speaking universities in the Western world.

I am proficient with Wordpress and have run a few websites in my time, therefore I am comfortable in regards to hosting, updating and doing minor fixes on my website.

I would be looking at what method would be the most profitable on a consistent basis and continue on that path, if it means creating my own products I will others I would be more than happy to promote other peoples products.

Yes I have money to invest into paid traffic and I intend to put this into action as soon as I believe I have a viable campaign to launch.

JensSteyaert - Hi Jens, I do have money to spend. However I would like guidance in spending it right manner. Thank you for mentioned "sales funnels" it terminology that I have heard of before but haven't fully understand what it is. Instead of looking for an individual coach choose a coaching forum where you will have many mentors and a community that will support you. It is also more affordable considering the fact that an exclusive mentor can cost you thousands of dollars in coaching fees.

Question 2: Are there any mentors that you would suggest?
Yes, strongly - mktgexperiments youtube channel, look for the older stuff by the guy with the glasses, your mind will be blown, prepare a pad and take notes.

You won't find practical PPC advice on this forum.

Question 3: How much investment per month would be required roughly in PPV/PPC for $100 a day profit?
10-month income would be a safe estimate to expect, so around $30k. Of course, could be $100, could be a million. Not per month, but total per campaign to gather sufficient data to turn your campaign to profit ($100). This is per campaign, spending little money on many campaigns = best way to fail.

I have disposable income that I am comfortable investing into my IM projects and I am motivated to reach my goal. I have set myself a time frame of between 1 - 1.5 years to achieve the goal of consistently making $100 a day.
You will, and probably faster. Most people in IM are looking to make a few dollars and not spend any money, you're one of the few with a proper mindset.

Agree to spend some time deciding on what business model appeals to you and applying it to whatever niche you already have interests in or knowledge.

I've always been confused by most advice being "first do niche research" because what you will soon be bombarded with is multiple offers in different business models. Yes, you can and should apply different income producing streams to one ore more niches, but I do think you are smart to start with ONE model that applies to you.

A membership site is a good place to start but I would be mentally "interviewing" coaches as you come across people who are excelling in this model. Some membership forums have progress trackers and you can feel motivated moving through the process and posting your progress. A smaller group or private coaching will get you to your goals faster if it is a good fit.

Don't jump at the first one you find, I would consider an Ideal combination someone to inspire you, give you enough details and info to keep moving forward, be honest with you and kick your butt to hold you accountable to your goals.

you have realistic goals and it look like you have thought it out well.. Having a capital to invest with from the beginning puts you at a big advantage, and there is no reason why you won't make your 100 a day in half the time you planned, if its PPC you're playing with, could happen waaay soooner than you imagined if you do well..

    my 2 cents

i would find small niches and create websites and rank them for long keyphrases. Put affiliate links on them and with about 4 small sites with decent traffic you should be able to achieve that goal

One tip for you to remember - and I'm not making a specific comment about anyone here. If someone suggests a "particular" program - check to see if that happens to be the program THEY are selling (in their signature, for example). Be very cautious about those who might "PM" you with an offer of coaching or product or system. Before you trust - verify.

There are helpful and knowledgeable people on this forum - there are people giving advice who KNOW what they are talking about and have years of success online.

...and there are many others who answer, too.

You have a realistic view of "getting started" and an achievable timeline set - proceed deliberately and build as you go.

Edit: I don't necessarily agree with the "one mentor" - I learned from multiple people who were specialized in multiple areas. Anyone who knows more than you do - or has vast experience in a certain area - is someone you can learn from.
