The Car Of Your Dreams

We all know that internet marketing offers huge earning potential.

When you strike it rich what car will you be driving? I know I'm getting off the topic of internet marketing, but everyone needs a break once in a while, so here's your 5 minute break.

What's your dreams car?

Mines definitely the one and only MUSTANG GT500

    I love the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500. I've been
looking for one to fix up with my dad. Probably, my
    all-time favorite. :-) Matt

I'm only 18 and my dad always tells me how he worked his but off to buy this car then sold it 5 years later he regrets it to this day.

When ever we go to car shows he always has to find this car before we leave

    A taxi!

When I'm "independently" wealthy (no one produces alone ALL that they need) I don't want to own much more than a laptop. Maybe that will even be a rental. Think Caine, in Kung Fu.

I want a 60's Shelby Mustang too! Cars these days are so boring.

I got a Nissan 180sx which is very nice though.

                      I agree Chris.

The Ferrari's and Lambo's from the 90's are the definition of what they should look like.

The new versions are too curvy and they have lost their unique look.

Mine has not been put on the market yet.

Its a 100% electric power hybrid that can be plugged into a solar power charger. Its made of carbon fiber and runs on lithium ion batteries.

It's got room to seat at least 6... because I want to enjoy life having my family along for the ride :-)

                              Maybe a nice Crossover SUV.

The electric charge range is 100mi + even when driving at 75 mph

And when it runs out of juice I can just switch to the gas power engine which also recharges the batteries as it runs.

I'd also like a bumper hitch for a small trailer for when I take family trips which has an ultra portable solar panel charger that can recharge the batteries... that way even if I ran out of gas I could just camp and recharge in remote areas :-)

Plus this trailer could offer electric power to run other devices if needed and provide a little extra storage.

Call it my freedom mobile... freedom to go and not have to pay at the pump and stay on the move even when there is no pump in site.

I'd also like a nice sporty sedan 100% electric for in town driving that I can charge on the home solar bay.

A 100% electric truck carved out of a solid block of testosterone would be nice too.

My plan for the future is to get as far off the grid as possible... though I would sell back some of my power if necessary and make the power company send me a check.

I feel the most patriotic thing I can do is to reduce my dependence of petrol and stop sending my money to oil rich countries.

So my dream car would need to make me a little more independent.

The 1970 1/2 Z-28 Camero. Came out in the summer of 1970. Came stock with Corvette 202 heads, and a 350 small block with dual exhaust.

Btw, you can pick up an 04 Gallardo for $120K (US) or so now. Almost getting too cheap.

That is the new Dodge Challenger, very nice and aggressive stance. It has a very nice engine - 6.1 Hemi. I took one for a test drive recently and it handles like a dream. The only thing I did not like was the head room as I am kinda tall and the seat did not lower enough for me. It is certainly a head turner and it just purrrrrs.

It was a sleeper too. Could run with a lot of very spendy whips in that day - up to about 110 mph - then the volksie got a little too sketchy for my tastes. Stopping them old cars isnt one of their strong suits ... LOL

If my budget was around 100 000$ I would get the new Nissan GTR, as I would never spend more than 100 000$ on cars. But if my budget is more around 50 000$ I would get a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Yup, my two dream cars.

Mates, I have so so so so soooo many dream cars, as I am still kinda young (22) I would go for the Japanese, Nissan R35 GT-R !!! pretty affordable for such a great car - $175k AUD, 2 doors 4 seats (that actually fits 4 people comfortably), able fit your golf clubs in the boot...not to mention it is very freaking fast for a 3.8 V6 Twin Turbo!!! about a second slower than an Enzo Ferrari on the Top Gear track....handling looks superb, loving the reviews so far~ and the looks, MAN its beautiful~ *drooling*~

                            I currently drive R34 GT-T (not even a GTR) that i bought for $14k...haha

    The Car Of My Dreams!

This 1956 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner with Continental Kit.
This is actually a regular convertible, but I prefer the hardtop
retractable version much better. Will never forget the one
that was up for sale at a classic car show in '88 - for $14,000.
Today, $14,000 would get you one that you put have to back
together and restore) or you can get one like this in mint
    condition for $35,000+.

I wanted a fully decked out tundra with custom wheels. Seeing that gas is the way it is I would settle for a decked out tacoma 4x4 with cusom body parts.

My other vehicle of choice would be a nitro injected prius. Im sure this would be a modern chick mobile.

One car I would love in the garage is a mustang gt500 or a older shelby.

LOL. Took me 3 months to find a place in New Zealand that even sells hybrid station wagons (NOT SUVs thank you) and then the only option was $24K second hand ($9K higher than the non-hybrid) and still had a 2.4L engine, meaning it still had about the same fuel consumption as my current 1.8L station wagon. Sigh some people don't really understand fuel efficiency

I did not think it would be long until someone mentioned this car, one of my personal favorites. However, being Scottish and now having full access to true American muscle cars (I already have a 69 Dodge Charger and a Mach 1 Mustang) the one I want is a true 69 Yanko Camero. The new sports cars are nice and I do have a penchant for Austin Martin but I love the sound of the old rebored V8's with a nice straight flow exhaust.

Problem with most of the cars you guys want (Ferraris, Lambos, Rolls, etc) is that they would really look out of place in my neighborhood, I'd constantly worry about the neighbor kids throwing rocks and I'd probably get car-jacked the first week. Plus I'd never get out of fourth and still be within the speed limit and I'd be filling it up twice a week because of the horrible fuel mileage they get.

I actually used to own one of these, a 1972 Honda 600 Sedan. Loved it!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/1970-Honda-600-S...efaultDomain_0

(Scroll down to the big pictures! Mine was the very same color and in very good shape.)

It had a 598 cc Honda two-cylinder bike engine under the hood, with the bottom end changed for front drive axles and it got 50 mpg even when I put my foot into it (I smirk at the car commercials that proudly proclaim 35 mpg!).

I had it up to 80 mph one day and it was still a stable ride. (Top speed rated at 75. I was going downhill.)

It had a four speed manual trans, a gear shift that hung from the bottom of the dashboard and I could smoke both front tires any day of the week on dry pavement.

Plus it was light enough I could actually lift the rear tires off the ground simply by lifting on the rear bumper. I would quite often come out of the skating rink to find my 'buddies' had picked it up and set it down sideways between two parked cars, making it impossible to get out. (That's how I discovered I could move it manually myself...)

To change the engine/trans, just disconnect the wiring, shift linkage and fuel line and remove four large bolts, then lift the body off the engine. The engine and wheels are on their own subframe. Super easy to work on!

Great little car and I'd love to have another one of these days.

Honestly, when I strike it rich... I'll probably be doing a lot of walking or bike riding.

I'm not a big car person, and travel is my biggest dream. It's not that useful to have a fancy car if I'm gonna be in Taiwan not driving it!

I may go and rent a nice Jeep Wrangler (90's) though! I loooooove me a Wrangler.

Alternatively to a Lambo Reventon, maybe a HUMMER

Why? Because here in EU no person drives a car bigger than your average shoe-box. I like a big hummer and then i just CRUSH all the smarts and tiny cars....or at least scare them a bit

The quintessential "Big 80's" ride...The DeLorean!

Talk about gettin' some bang for your buck....you can pick up a low mile original.....for around $40K.... and the chicks still go crazy over it. It was a car way ahead of it's time.

30 years later....The DeLorean is still cool....and it still gets me laid....and I lost my drivers license years ago!

Just park it. Set it. Forget it. When the hot chick of the day walks up...just flip those cool ass doors up...and it's ON, baby!

Yes Vincent. You've perfectly described the power of my car. Thank You. By the way it can go backwards and forward in time. The truth is I'm from the future and I'm posting this tomorrow. Bye!

LOL! I can't think of the DeLorean anymore without thinking about that crazy professor in Back to the Future. And Michael J. Fox, of course.

There some pictures of some nice cars through out the posts. But I would have to say that at this time my dream car is a Range Rover. As a matter of fact I have a picture of one posted up on my vision board.

I would love to have an X5.

Now I saw a couple of replies with BMW, well, just my opinion, I think it's a great car for the technologies it has built for the car.

Just a little something to share:

I was previously a member a sales team with auto bavaria, though the lenght of time there was not long, l've learnt a lot about BMW. A lot means really a lot. Selling BMW is not just about sell or sales. The product knowledge of the car is extremely important. When I learn about the car, you also gotta know a little about physics! I think my most unforgettable experience is whenever there's a new launching, we will be sent for training, this is where you get the first touch of everything almost ahead of everyone and you get to test drive the car! Can't say enough the about the target achievement is damned attractive <i can only admire the top sales because I never got there> Well, this is not a motor corner! That's about it for now! F series is upcoming!
