Men Only Survey - Would You Buy This Facebook App?

Does your wife constantly (if not daily or 3 times a day) bug you to login to facebook and click the LIKE button on something she has postede? (usually a photo of herself)

Please dear God tell me that I am not the only one suffering through the daily or more obligation to login to facebook against my will and click the "all-so-important" like button that "MUST BE CLICKED IF YOU TRULY DO LOVE ME" lol....

If I am not the only one, let me know if this would be a useful app for you to have?

Facebook App Idea Part 1:

1. You select which friend you want to auto-like all content that is posted from their account...

2. The app will auto-like ANYTHING they post INSTANTLY...

3. You will NEVER have to stop what you are doing because your wife or girlfriend demands you login and like their stuff again...

YES! FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Facebook App Idea Part 2:

1. You select which friend you want to auto-like all content that is posted from their account...

2. The app will auto-like ANYTHING they post INSTANTLY...

3. You also setup a random rotator of comments such as "GORGEOUS!" or "My hot wife right here yeah!" and things like "you are my soulmate" or "i love you forever" ... and these sayings will automatically be commented on ANTHING they post randomly to appear natural.

Thanks so much for your input.

  • I'll admit, I'm NOT much of a social media guru - but what's the point of this?

You like your friends stuff, that's not going to get you more traffic or anything...

Sorry, perhaps I'm just missing the obvious LOL

    • Lazy market research for his new app . . .

Well to put it plainly.... my wife constantly like 3 times a day begs me to login and click like button on a new pic she added.

She will even add the same exact pic 15 times in 2 days because she like to tweak the coloring and stuff then add it again, erasing my like and then making me go login and like it again.

It's been happening for nearly 8 years LOL and since I wouldn't dare dream of divorcing her ( ilove her to death) i thought well what if I had a FB app to do it for me? LOL

I could imagine her coming to ask me hey please go like my stuff and i could smugly smile and say "i already did" and she would be so clueless how the hell im liking her stuff so fast without lifting a finger!!

      like i said... FREEDOM... LOL
  • This is ridiculous, what if she posts a photo of her sister? Will your app reply with a "you are my soulmate" comment?

  • I like your enthusiasm, haha. But really, I would not use this app. Certainly wouldn't pay for it. Guys just need to grow some balls and say "I'm NOT going to like your picture. You look like a toad."

And you're not selling freedom. You're selling shackles.

    Think about it.

Think about what? Not sure what you mean exactly.

Honestly this is NOT about selling anything.. I honestly just want this app for me SO I CAN AUTO LIKE MY WIFE'S POSTS LOL!!

I wouldn't mind financing its development by selling it after the fact of course ..

so that is why i am seeking your opinions

otherwise i wouldnt be posting this at all and would just build it myself but dont know how.

you guys are so damn skeptical you honestly missing my entire point and you thnk im doing market research trying to sell LOL
  • No one (wife or my three girlfriends ) has ever insisted I like anything on Facebook. Some folks have asked nicely but that's it. I don't think there would be much of a market for your apps.
  • I wouldn't need it, no.

People who waste my time by asking me to do stuff on Facebook get ignored.

And, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that auto-liking things will just make their content show up more. Won't it just cause content that you don't care about to clog up the timeline?

lol yeah but i cant ignore my wife

i wouldnt be auto-liking anyones stuff but my wifes and all she posts is family pics and cute cat shit so honestly i would not mind at all if this is all i saw in my timeline.

honestly you guys are soooooo overthinking this.
  • Yeah sorry man - i've got no interest in this....I still don't see the point...
  • I think I'd be okay with option #1. Option #2 might cause you to get into some embarrassing situations where you get out of context comments that aren't congruent with the post -- leading to people (especially your significant other) wondering if you're actually paying attention to her posts!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Its actually a good idea, to auto like your wifes post lol

I wouldnt do it but im sure many would

thanks for honest opinion. I CANNOT POSSIBLY BE THE ONLY GUY dealing with this situation... lol!!
  • Jason, I don't see people paying for it monthly ....

BUT, I do see it as a list builder... You can then monetize it in a variety of ways.....

i dont think so. i dont need it to build a list and why would it ask for someone's email? I just need it to like my wifes stuff. not sure where an email comes into play??
  • This app will surely help those who are constantly being bugged by their corresponding partner over a trivial matter (sorry for that; to women who might chance to read this). I'll change partner and not buy the app (lol!) but then if she is already my wife I'll go buy this app.
But really, anyone annoyingly bugging their buddy for a like in facebook need to consider some professional help but then your app should be the cheaper alternative just to ward her off for the meantime.

    • Jason, it sounds like there's a lot of young single guys here. Some sound destined to remain that way for some time...

My wife just logs into my FB account and "likes" things for me, mostly online contests and sweeps she wants an extra entry for. Given the amount of stuff she's won over the years (including the laptop I'm typing this on), I don't mind.
  • Sounds like the dumbest thing i've ever heard in my life, to be honest. i would be interested in an app that automatically deleted people that begged me to like their stuff on facebook.
  • I could not give a rats arse about it. My wife does not even have a facebook accout.
  • I do not think that this can help us. Well, maybe it is just me. Do you have any people who are desperate to get this app. What is the main use. Frankly, it seems as spam.
    • [1] reply
    • Nope.

      1) My fiancée would not be impressed at all.

      2) Let's say she posts about some animal cruelty story or bad news story..."Love it, Baby x"

This just sounds like a way of getting yourself in trouble. Not for me I'm afraid.

HOWEVER - if you could change it to auto like a new profile photo, that would be somewhat safer.
  • If I had a wife or girlfriend who persistently bugged me to "Like"
everything they posted on Facebook I would:

    1. If it were a girlfriend I'd find a new girlfriend

    2. If it were my wife I'd have a very long and serious talk with
her about being needy and narcisisstic.

The whole premise is incredibly ridiculous. No... I would not buy this app.

Seriously, dude... if your wife bugs you incessantly to "Like" everything
she posts on Facebook you have serious issues to deal with. That's just
    not right.
  • I would make a facbook account using a smoking hot chick persona, then any time she nagged me about liking something, I would add it to the hot chick account and then like it from mine.

    Love is in the air

    • How about an app that monitors your wife's pathetic attention seeking behavior on social media and automatically generates and mails divorce papers to your home
