How do you set up a sales funnel?


If you use Wordpress are there a set of plugins to use?


Does anyone know of good training videos that can explain steps of building a sales funnel and how it pieces together?

    There are a few different plugins out there... WP Sales Funnel, Sales Funnel Ninja, and probably some others. I haven't used any though, so I couldn't tell you which was the best.

    You can set up a sales funnel with wordpress + optimize press 2.
    I'd recommend going on youtube and looking for "lenin optimize press" and you'll find my friend lenin teaching how to create a sales page with optimize press 2.

      I've often wondered whether there's a wordpress theme that people use for a one page sales funnel site - or if they use other thems and then have a plugin which creates a separate page on their website which is the funnel page.

      If it's just one page, and you're a newbie, what are the most simple or best options?

        If you are just starting, it's probably easier and cheaper to use a 3 or 4 page html site.

        It's easy to get lost in building a 50 storey hotel and then finding out that no one wants to stay there.

        My tip is to start small and simple, get it out there... test and then scale if you make a profit.

        Always remember that you are here to market, not become a webmaster.

        Just my thoughts.

    Not a huge fan of Wordpress as I find it clunky. I use PHP which offers greater flexibility but for beginners Wordpress is by far the best option.

    But I'm not really sure what the sales funnel is, exactly.

      A sales funnel looks just like a funnel:



      You as a marketer 'create' targeted traffic via PAID or FREE Methods and send all that traffic into your 'lead capture page' [mouth or top of funnel].

      The traffic [people] go through different processes based on the type of system you are using and X amount of them come out the other end later in the form of Sales.

      So in a nutshell...

      You need:

      1- Targeted Traffic

      2- Landing Page / Lead Capture Page

      3- Sales Page

      4- Follow Up Emails

      The more 'targeted' your traffic is, the higher your conversions [sales] will be.

    1. Optimize Press 2.0 - Wordpress plugin

    2. Lead Pages - NO plugin required and you can host your pages
    there and claim a domain name with that service too.

    3. TRACKING - "ClickMagick" YOU must always be tracking your results
    and Click Magick is a great tool for beginners.

    There's plenty of themes, plugins, and even software that can help you out.

    OptimizePress, Instabuilder, WP Profits Theme, LeadPages, etc...
