How much can I charge for an HONEST course on personal finance.

I say honest course because I am not going to promise exaggerated returns like a lot of finance courses. I'm going to show someone how to put together a standard portfolio that can get 6% after inflation and I'm going to cover all other areas of personal finance like debt and insurance. I do have a twist that will separate me from a typical ten dollar book on the subject.

So what price range should I be thinking about charging for a honest-to-goodness comprehensive course on personal finance?

    Instead of charging one price why not break it down into smaller parts and use them as upsells. You could start by giving the report for ten bucks, then the next thing would be seventeen and so on. You might find that you actually make more money breaking it into smaller parts.

    As for the price, I would research and see what others are charging and use it as an example.

    Offer a few review copies out on the "Warrior for hire board," and ask them for honest feedback on the course and also what they would pay for it.

    If you believe that you have a twist that will make the course more appealing than most, then price it higher than the courses that don't.

    Just remember to elaborate on the twist that you say seperates you from other courses.

    Typical Course with typical IM Marketers - $7

      The problem is that someone could get the education I am going to give them by spending $80-$100 on the right books. I'm not sure I can charge anything close to that.

    who is your target market? do you have the credibility to be selling the course to the wealthy? or is your target market people who are mostly broke with little disposable income?

    obviously that will change how you price your product.

    what are your credentials for offering such information? that info will go a long way to how much someone may be willing to pay for your course.

    you say you have a "new twist" on personal finance. how has that twisted been tested and vetted?

    lets face it, personal finance is not a new topic or one that is sparsely covered by experts with tons of training and credibility.
