Traffic but no opt-ins!

Hello guys,

I'm having a problem over here and I thought to share with you!!
I'm getting traffic into my website, but unfortunately no op-ins!!
I try 2-3 different offers and also an mlm company but unfortunately the traffic is not converting at all
I also change the campaigns i create a total of 40-50 different campaigns without results

I'm using 3 different platforms, media traffic, admarketplace and jema media
I have a total of 2800 visitors in 3 days but I have only 3 subscribers! :-/

In media traffic i targeted the traffic by urls (about 1500 urls ) and also by exact keyword (top 200 keywords)

I think the squeeze page has the problem but I want the opinion of an experience marketer !

I will be glad to hear your opinion !

Thank you in advance
Regards

Change your traffic source. I would do Bing, its a bit more expensive but GREAT quality of leads. I got 33 leads one time from only spending a few dollars.

Nobody can tell you confidently or accurately what's going wrong without seeing everything you're doing, but your comment above strongly suggests that your traffic-sources are no good.

It's possible, but looking at it superficially from your comments above, it seems very likely that the main problem is with the traffic.

Don't forget that "traffic" means "people", and for it to be suitable traffic for you, they have to be people who were already looking for whatever you're offering before they clicked on your link. After getting that right, then it matters a bit what the squeeze page is like, too.

your promoting MLM schemes? that's prob why they aren't converting.. those things are dodgy and everyone knows that

Thank you Queen ! But I think the problem is the traffic ! If you read my post, people not only ignore my ads, they even seen my ads, the just click on it and then close the window without reading at all, so I will agree with Alexa that the problem is the traffic, Besides I have already try 5-10 different affiliates products, and i have exactly the same results!

    Hey,

The problem is one of these three things:

    - Your traffic is not targeted : you need to make sure that the right people are seeing your adverts, otherwise when they click onto your ad its a guarantee that they won't engage with anything you have on offer

    - Your free gift isn't good enough. What you are offering people on your squeeze page may not be as good as you think it is, maybe people don't care about that topic or don't want to know about any of that kind of stuff

    - Your copy isn't good enough. Maybe your free gift is good but you just haven't conveyed that correctly. Make sure all your text is compelling and attractive but still professional and realistic. Make sure the design of your page is good too

Either your squeeze page is making it impossible for the person to opt-in...

    It's somewhat broken...

    The traffic source is poo-poo...

Or a combo of all the above.

I would consider testing out a different source.

Have you used FB ads yet?

  • Hi anymvs,

It could be your website sucks or there is no clear call to action or the reason to opt in is not strong enough or finally the traffic is not targeted? Change only one, test it for a week, then change another one and so on.

Or there are unnecessary distractions on the website?

    Eventually things should kick start?

    Hi A,

Have you seen the main option offers and ad hooks used by your main niche competitors - that's a good place to start.

    Begin by:

[1] Identifying your main competitors or those at the top of the rankings in your niche in other countries.

The free GoogleGlobal Chrome extension here allows you to check Google rankings in other countries.

[2] Look at what they're offering to attract optins.

[3] Run their URLs through similarweb.com and mixrank.com (free account required) to see what their most shown ads are e.g. in dating (stats for doubleyourdating.com):

Now you have a bank of additional offers to split-test and find better converting offers.

Hi A, if we could see the page, we could get a clearer picture of what you could do to improve

A few notes: is your squeeze page all about the benefits? If not, focus heavily on how your product will help folks live their dreams.

If you want to see the best dream seller in MLM, on earth, pretty much, just visit Ray Higdon's blog. Heck, follow him no matter what. Dude's a pro!

AND....assess your energy around your squeeze page. Feel desperate, frustrated and upset? If so, double down on your mental work, away from the computer, to let the "opt-in generating" ideas to flow freely into your mind, so you can act on them and so you can grow your business.

    Onward and upward!

When media buying, do your research on the type of site that you want to promote on. I created a successful campaign 3 weeks ago with BuySellAds (A media buying site). What I did was find a product from ClickBank, create a squeeze page with an unrefusable offer and then buy an ad from the site/forum that relates to the product. If the cost of the ad is too cheap i.e. $100 or less a month, then it usually means the traffic on that site isn't really active and responsive. If it is quite pricey i.e. $500 a month, the traffic is premium and they are responsive i.e. click links, read articles, share content etc.

Another problem for you could be that your squeeze page isn't high converting. Have a look at your design and think of ways to improve them. You can send me the link of your squeeze page on PM and I can analyse the problems for you.

Your traffic sources are the culprit. I put no faith in them. In any niche the simplest and most commonly mentioned traffic generating sites are usually the first ones you want to deal with:

    - Google Adwords
    - Bing Ads
    - High traffic website advertising
    - Affiliate program
    - Targeted TV ads (believe it or not)

Your conversion rates aren't good. Ditch the sites your investing in now, and either exit the niche, or find other places (or people) to invest in.

  • You have a conversions problem.

    Test other landing pages.

    Use software like

    Clickfunnels
    Leadpages
    Unbounce
    or Instapage

    and create variations

Your lack of opt-ins is due to just one of two factors: the traffic or the squeeze page, or it could even be a combination of both.

Seeing that you sent over 2,800 visitors with only 3 opt ins, I'm inclined to think the main cause of your lack of success here is the traffic.

Even the worst squeeze page would have yielded more opt ins with that many visitors, even if you just used something fairly generic or a template of some kind.

Your scenario leads me to believe that your traffic is probably not targeted enough and therefore unresponsive -- going by the fact that you're using PPV and media traffic, you probably have to refine your campaigns some more to reach your desired crowd.

Also, I'd ensure that your squeeze page is really simple and straightforward with a very strong and compelling call to action, because with these ad platforms you really only have a second or two to catch the attention of your visitors before you lose them.

You have a massive amount of space with only 14 words of copy, very bland copy. Hire someone to write something clever for you and your numbers will improve. I'm not familiar with your traffic sources so I'll leave that to the experts.

Ok, it looks like you're using Leadpages based on the Leadbox on your page.

You really chose one of their worst designs!

Go back to the "optins" section, sort it by conversion rate - those are their highest converting designs.

Then write some really good copy on the landing page, compelling people to get your landing page, explain the benefits not the features, explain why they need your offer etc.

Quite a bit of good advice in here...I'm gonna say to try solo ad providers and split test a couple of different lead pages and ads to see if you're results improve.

Solos are working for me. I think they can work for most people once you find the right solo providers.

There's no social proof in your squeeze page. There's too many spaces and there's no real incentive for me to join. There's no way you're getting any more than 10 subscribers. Also, when I sign up, it directs me to a page where I'm given the chance to sign up to your plans for $84 quarterly and $336 annually.

What are you playing at? I can't believe what I'm seeing seriously. You should go back to the drawing board and figure out a proper sales funnel that actually converts.

Thanks for the comment. This is a business forum, try to show professionalism if you're talking about reputations. You made a couple back handed comments at the OP too. I'll make sure to avoid you in the future.

To the OP - Remove some of those words at the top in order to make your order "above the fold" meaning someone doesn't have to scroll down to see the button. Also it does scream scam... You should mention something there that will get them to trust you in the first 3 seconds. Like a money back guaruntee. Include some testimonials from satisfied customers or something as well.

    -Hope this helps.

That was the point of the "reading" comment - the page is linked above.

It's questionable - looks just like several other "squeeze pages" appearing here recently. It leads to what appears to be a "buying membership" that offers "free web tools" to affiliates....

If people are NOT signing up to a blind "give me your email" page - maybe the traffic is too smart for the offer?

I would really check the quality of the traffic and also the TYPE of traffic.

There are 3 types of traffic. I highly recommend you to get more education on this subject here.

You also need to learn about what converts the best with what type of traffic.

When it comes to conversions, is all about testing. Testing testing testing!

You will have to test everything you can!

The colors, the size of the letters, the words you are using, the ad copy, the color of the button, and just anything you can test!

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Keep up the great work!

  • Aloha Anymvs,

Just checked out your landing page and have a couple recommendations for you:
Use a compelling headline that focuses on solving a problem that your audience has that will give them a reason to download your free report. The headline is the FIRST thing your audience sees once they land on your page. It has to be able to stop them dead in their tracks and keep them wanting to find out more information. Use power words like Discover, Secrets, Truth, Reveal, etc. in your headlines. Maybesomething like:

"Discover The Secrets To Living The Life You Always Wanted?"
FREE Report Reveals How Easily Your Dreams Can Be Achieved

Next I think you should change your background image to an image that conveys the benefits of getting your report. The image should provide the viewer a feeling of "I gotta check this report out". Check out Google images and search through different images and take note of how the images make you feel when you first see them. Having a road leading off to nowhere may be calming but I don't think you want your customer to guessing at where that road ends.

And another thing I would do is move that legal disclaimer. Put it down somewhere so that it doesn't
    distract the attention.

These are just a few things that you can do right now the might help with your conversions. Of course
there are a lot of other factors that go into building a high converting landing pages. Factors like
who's your target audience, split testing, look and feel, color schemes, copy writing, etc.

But the above suggestions and the suggestions of the previous posts should get you going. I hope this helps.

I had a similar problem getting huge amounts of what was promoted as targeted traffic but did not get any opt ins or sales.

Step 1. I tested out different traffic sources and identified what was giving me results and stuck with those to see if I was getting consistent results.

Step 2. After identifying where I was getting consistent results I bought more traffic from those sources in order to generate profits.

An important note here: To get better conversion from traffic to opt ins offer something RELEVANT to your market niche and FREE.

Why not to use solo ads? ...You can invest $30 - $40 per 100 clicks and get amazing conversions. By the way it's a good way to re-test again your squeeze ;-)

I hear people talking about 10% and 30% conversions, but these numbers are always linked to things like email swaps, or solo ads.

Anyway that is still terrible. You have too many words on the page. What I've recently found out is More words on the opt-in page = less conversions. I'm testing some new stuff with more powerful short impactful headlines.
