You can have an Aweber form on your thank you page, if that's what you're asking.

Some of my information products are delivered via autoresponder and so my customers have to opt-in to receive their first week of downloadable material so I've been doing this for quite some time.

You may tick a lot of people off by forcing them to opt-in after they have paid for a product.

I've never had a complaint - not one. I simply tell them to "input the email address that you'd like to have your download links sent to here" and its done.

I agree, not a good idea, unless you want to entice them with some freebies.

You could always make the signup optional. On your thank you page have a download link so they grab what you sold them and then have a form they can fill out to sign up for your newletter. The key is to offer some kind of bonus to persuade them into subscribing.

Definitely, and I always do that.

Customers just don't like to be forced into opting in to something they have already paid for and given a email address.

    Sarah -

PM me and I'll show you how I
set this up - no complaints from
    anyone.

    Ignore the chicken little's - there's
    a reason they're not called
    "chicken bigs".

    X

PS - No, I'm not showing anyone
else my download page. ;-) Don't
    ask.
