Did Super Bowl XLIX Make You Money?

Can't believe that this past Super Bowl broke records with over 120+ Million people watching at one point (at its peak). Especially with the way the game ended, this created a massive opportunity for making money! I heard of people creating AdWord ads after the game, some geared toward CPA offers, and some geared toward 'F**k Pete Carroll' t-shirts, others sold Tom Brady jerseys and commemerable Super Bowl 49 post game wear. Point is, there were a ton of opportunities to make some serious cash, and I think it would be cool to share them in this thread.

    Didn't make any money off it like you mentioned.. But I did write a few freelance articles about Super Bowl leading in the weeks leading up to it.

    I sold tons of Teespring shirts during the week leading and even the day after the Super Bowl. With 120 Million people all watching to see what would happen, it was easy to promote shirts about Tom Brady even though I didn't want the Patriots to win.

    You could still make some money off of this.


    Katy Perry's performance and clothing is still circulating.

    Man i lost so much money on this game. Had to send a targeted broadcast email out for a report i created to make some of that money back. I thought Russell Wilson was going to take the Hawks to the promise land again.

    Will somebody please tell me why the ball didn't go to Lynch?

    Randall I could have sworn they'd fake the hand off to lynch and Wilson would have walked in.

    I also took the opportunity to make my london guide for nfl fans free for superbowl weekend. See how that does in the next few weeks as people start to look to the international series next year.

        You can still make loads of money from the publicity momentum of the Super Bowl; perhaps for as long as the next 4-6 months or so. Tackling this niche could be as simple as marketing books, souvenirs and memorabilia to sports enthusiasts which are available from Amazon every year. People often are more likely to even buy sports and exercise equipment when marketed in the context of sporting events. In addition, it is not too soon to begin playing the double whammy of next year's Super Bowl and the summer Olympics in Rio.

          hmm...makes me think, the super bowl niche, or any other periodical sporting event, sort of creates a wave or "momentum", so for the time being, is it safe to say that these events are more profitable then even the popular evergreen niches we all know and love today? Assuming you know how to successfully profit from them
